Inspired by her own daughters, Syndie Williams started writing and illustrating the Pencil-Town Folk in 1992.

The positive feedback from many parents, grandparents, education department, teachers, a child psychologist and an independent editor have fueled her drive to finally bring the Pencils of Pencil-Town to life!

Through these stories covering the adventures of colored pencil crayons, young children will learn not only the different colors, but moral and life lessons as well. The format is in full rhyme, and each little book carries bold easy-to-read fun text with color illustrations, supported by an optional audio to play along with each page.
