Medan Independent School (MIS) is run by Yayasan Medan International School. It serves the local community in Medan with international education since 1969 for students from as early as 3 years old to high school diploma all using the rigorous International Baccalaureate curriculum from the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP).
