At LILA, we believe handmade art is timeless.
Our inspiration comes from the unknown artisans from villages and their hand crafted works. Every time it amazes us how the mixing of old techniques can create a very contemporary look. We are drawn to these artisans creativity.
Skilled artisans carve the design into hard wood to make the blocks, very essential parts of block printing. These blocks are dipped into liquid dye and stamped onto the fabric with precision. A separate block is used for each color. some patterns may need many blocks to create the design.
We offer handcrafted 100% cotton quilted throws, bags & pillow.
We are also bringing a collection of denim aprons & lightweight cottons.
