Watsons are pleased to
announce that bookings are
now open for the 2019 Watsons
Home & Lifestyle Show.

We are an established property firm which
operates throughout East Anglia. Watsons
specialise in sales, lettings, valuations,
surveys, block and estate management and
commercial services.
We are pleased to host this event for a
second time to highlight the dynamic and
innovative range of services and lifestyle
products available to all residents within the
region.
The show aims to showcase the best
businesses within the home and lifestyle
industry operating in Norfolk. It is a chance
for stall holders to meet new customers,
engage with the public and network with
complementary local businesses.
The event will be held in The Forum, an
iconic building in Norwich city centre, with an
average daily foot fall of approximately 5000
people. Featuring seminar slots throughout
both the morning and the afternoon, the
event will take place on Friday 7 June 2019,
and will be open to the public between 9am
and 4pm.

Booking Options

We have worked hard to maximise the value of the trade show for exhibitors and have priced the
event to ensure it is affordable to attend.

Headline Sponsor £600 (ex. VAT)

There are opportunities available for three headline sponsors this year. All sponsors will benefit
from enhanced exposure within the show to a diverse range of prospective customers. The
headline sponsors will benefit from:
• A prime 3x1.5m sq. stand location.
• A full page advert in the event programme distributed to all delegates and the general public.
• Company logo and link to your own website on the Watsons company website.
• Mentioned in all press releases.
• 2 x 2-30 minute seminar slot in a dedicated auditorium (one during the morning sessions and one

in the afternoon to talk about your specialist knowledge of your industry.
• Exclusivity for your business area.

Exclusive Exhibitor £400 (ex. VAT)

There are opportunities available to be featured as an exclusive exhibitor of the event.
Exclusive exhibitors will benefit from:
• A prime 3x1.5m sq. stand location.
• A half page advert in the event programme distributed to all delegates and general public.
• Company logo and link to your own website on the Watsons company website.
• Exclusivity for your business area (you will be the only type of your business at the show).

Standard Exhibitor £200 (ex. VAT)

Our standard exhibitor spaces will provide your business with an excellent opportunity to
benefit from:
• A 3x 1.5m sq. stand.
• Listing in the exhibitor section of the event programme, which will be distributed to all delegates

and the general public.
• Company logo and link to your own website on the Watsons company website

Pitches are allocated on a first come first served basis. There is an option to become a headline or exclusive exhibitor
to gain exclusivity for your business area, but this is also on a first come first served basis.
To aid stand flexibility we will not provide a shell scheme.

Other Details

Equipment and Electricity

There is electricity available, however this is limited so please advise us early if you require
use and what supply you will need. Please ensure all items are PAT tested and bring along an
extension lead. Please note, The Forum will provide stand tables.

Event Promotion

We have a PR and communications plan in place to build maximum exposure of the event.
This will include; local press advertising, leaflets and posters distributed to our network of
offices, press releases, banner advertising and social media promotion.

Set Up and Access

Postcode: NR2 1TF

The Forum only has a short-term car park, but this is open seven days a week from 7am to
midnight, access is via Bethel Street. There is a height restriction of 2 metres. However, this
can be pricey if you have to keep renewing your ticket. A loading bay is available on Bethel
Street, where you can off-load any items for your stand and move your vehicle to a location
of your choice.

Stands will be in place from 7.00am on Friday 7 June 2019, when you can begin setting up,
but these must be manned at all times from this point. This gives you two hours until the
event opens to the public. The event will take place between 9.00am-4.00pm.

All stands will need to be fully dismantled by 6.00pm on Friday 7 June 2019.

A floorplan and stand number will be sent to you 2 weeks before the event. On arrival please
contact a member of Watsons staff who will be happy to direct you to your
stand area.

Stand security and Insurance

Please do not leave your stand unattended during the show hours of 9am-4pm. Watsons
staff will be easily identifiable and will be able to provide assistance where possible. Please
make sure you have the relevant Public Liability Insurance in place. Please send a copy of this
along with your booking form.

Terms and Conditions/Contract of Booking for Exhibitors

1. Financial/Booking
1.1. Bookings to be made over the phone or via the online form on our company website.
1.2. Payments to be made in full by BACS and are non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
1.3. It is a condition of your booking being accepted that you have valid public liability insurance in place for the day
of the exhibition. It is also advisable to be covered by insurance for any loss/damage of property.

2. Confirmation
A confirmation email will be sent following receipt of payment.

3. General Conditions
The organisers will not be liable to any exhibitor for any claim or refund in the event of the exhibition
being cancelled or disrupted due to bad weather, major incident, civil unrest or any other cause beyond
the organisers’ control or any other reason. The organisers will not be held responsible for any personal
damage/loss or theft of equipment/property on the exhibition stands.

4. Site Conditions
4.1. Stand tables will be put in place (as per agreed floor plan) by Forum staff the night before (Thursday 6
June 2019).
4.2. Sponsors with larger stands can take the opportunity to set up the evening before (Thursday 6 June)
4.3. Exhibitor stand set-up must take place on Friday morning between 7am - 9am.­ This gives all standholders two

hours to complete their set-up.
4.4. The Home & Lifestyle Show will be open from 9.00am-4pm on Friday 7 June 2019.
4.5. Dismantling of stands should not take place until after 4.00pm in order to maintain the
professional image of the event and adhere to health and safety regulations. The site must be clear
by 6.00pm on Friday 7 June.
4.6. It is the responsibility of the Exhibitors to clear any rubbish from their stand and dispose of it sensibly,
including all un-used brochures/leaflets and returning any cups/plates to the cafe.

5. Use of Electrical Supply
5.1. There is access available to standard 13 amp sockets, however it cannot be guaranteed and the
existence of such a supply on the day is not a condition of this contract. The organisers will not
be held liable for economic or consequential loss resulting from any lack of supply and/or negligence
however caused.
5.2. All electrical equipment must display an up to date PAT tested sticker on the day or proof of the
item being less than 12 months old be available.

6. Responsibility of Exhibitors and Sponsors
6.1. The organisers are excluded from liability regarding the health and safety of all stands.
6.2. Exhibitors are responsible for the Health & Safety (including fire precautions). The Exhibitor shall
assume full responsibility for any article of any kind exhibited by them, including liability for all
claims arising out of handling of exhibits and the conduct of their stand generally.
6.3. The Exhibitor shall indemnify The Organisers against all claims, damages or expenses arising in
any way out of the presence of the Exhibitor, their staff or their exhibits at the event. Acceptance of
these provisions shall be condition of entry.

7. Disclaimer of Responsibility
The organisers shall not in any way unless legally liable be responsible for:
7.1 Any claim for compensation or otherwise in regard to holding of or for anything arising out of or in any
connection with the event including and indirect/consequential losses.
7.2 Any accident that may occur (death, injury, disease) or loss arising to the fullest extent permissible by law.
7.3 Any loss or damage whatsoever arising from the abandonment, cancellation of the exhibition and any such
eventuality howsoever caused.
7.4 The liability of the Organisers in relation to any claim, shall in any event be limited to the refund of any monies
paid to the organisers under these terms.

8 Changes
The organisers reserve the right to make changes to the layout of other aspects of the event as required.
