1 THE DEVELOPMENT OF EXPORTS STRUCTURE:
The total value of commodity exports from the emirate (exports + re-exports) for the peri-
od 2013-2017 amounted to AED 5411.6 million in 2017. The increases and decreases dur-
ing this period, are mainly due to the change in the value of re-exports. The table below
shows that commodity exports hiked from AED 2880.3 million in 2013 to 3399.1 in 2017.
