Owl babies By qee
. Once there were three baby owls: Luna, Coco and Mia. They lived in a hole in the trunk of their tree with their owl mother. The hold had twigs and leaves and owl feathers in it. It was their home. Page 1
One day they woke up and their mother owl was GONE. “ Where’s mummy? ” asked Luna. “ Oh my goodnes! ” said Coco. “ I want my mummy! ” said Mia. Page 2
The owls thought “ I think shes gone hunting ” said Luna. “ To get us our food! ” said Coco “ I want my mummy!! ” said Mia Page 3
But their owl mother didn't come. The baby owls came out of the house and sat on the tree and waited. A big branch for Luna. A medium branch for Coco, and a medium branch for Mia. “I'm sure she'll be back soon. “ Said Luna “ back soon?! I want mommy now!! “ Said Coco. “ I want mummyyyyy!!!!” Said Mia. Page 4
It was dark in the woods. They knew they had to be brave for the things that moved around them. “ She'll probably bring us something really nice and yummy, maybe a rat! “ Said Luna. “ Maybe a fish? She brings us those every time. “ Said Foco. “I want mummyyy!!! “ Said Mia. Page 5
“ I think we should sit on my branch. Its bigger “ said Luna. And they all did. All three of them together. Page 6
“ I think she got lost.. “ said Luna. “Or a big bad fox got her! “ Said Coco. “ I want my mummyy!! “ Said Mia. And the baby owls closed their eyes and wished their mother would come home. Page 7

Soft and silent, she swooped through the woods to Luna, Coco and Mia. Page 9
And finally, the babies and the mother reunited. They were happy to see their mother. They can now finally sleep and rest lovingly. Page10
