Invitation of a lifetime
Letter to Our Readers
Praise the Lord! We have made it through another winter season. Springtime and garden
season is here again and I am excited about what God is doing in the lives of His people
throughout this Nation. In 2 Samuel 5:24 the Scripture tells us of a time when God said that He
would go before His people Israel and fight in the battle for them. When they heard the stirring in
the tops of the trees, they would know that this was beginning to occur. It seems that if you listen
with your spiritual ears you can hear a stirring in the bushes, so to speak, and Christian people of
conscience are beginning to cry out for God to intervene. We must stop the outright onslaught of
the enemy, and the destructive permissive agendas that allow babies to be murdered, and for
undocumented criminals to roam the streets of our cities, putting our families at risk.
We continue to ask that God will provide for all your Spiritual, physical, emotional,
relational and financial needs. We pray God will encamp His Angels of protection around about
your families. Patricia and I are grateful to all the faithful readers and prayer partners of this
Ministry, and for those of you who have offered your support. Your generosity has enabled us to
maintain and expand our ministry outreaches. As many of you know, He has blessed us with a
new website: https://allaboutjesusmedia.com/ where access to many of our audio and written
ministry materials are available. You can also access the “All About Jesus Newsletter” in Digital
Magazine format from the new website. It is a blessing and an honor to be allowed to minister
and pray for our family and friends and partners. Please continue sending us your reports of how
God has blessed you in some way through the ministry of the “All About Jesus Newsletter.” We
pray that you will share the “All About Jesus Newsletter” in written and digital format with your
friends and family members and give them an opportunity to be blessed with the Gospel Message
it contains as well.
Dear Heavenly Father, we read in Your Word that even though many things went wrong with Your
people, You always had a plan to deliver them, and this is still Your Promise today. Lord, Your Greatest Plan is
spoken of in Romans 5:8 which says, “You showed Your Love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ
died for us.” God, You knew we did not deserve it but You came anyway through Jesus who died in our place.
Paul said in Romans 3:10-11 “There is no one righteous not even one, no one understands, there is no one who
seeks God.” Thank You Father for Your Plan that was made, even before the foundation of the world, as is
written about in 1 Peter 1:19-20. Lord, we ask for the help of Your Holy Spirit to live grateful lives to give You
Glory. we pray in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
There is A Place
“This is the rest with which you may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing:
yet they would not hear.” Isaiah 28:12
There is a Place of Rest that is found in Jesus Christ, which is so wonderful that it
is almost beyond the ability of a human being to describe it with our limited vocabulary.
Over the centuries, ever since God first created Adam and Eve, men have tried in many
different ways to come closer to God or to be more like Him, using their own man-made
devices and philosophies. The truth of the matter is, however, that any attempt to come to
God using our own ideas or abilities will only lead us farther away from God down a path
of destruction. (There is a way which seems right unto a man, but the end thereof are the
ways of death. Proverbs 14:12) There is only one way to come to God the Father and that
is the Way that He has provided for mankind. It is through the pardon that Jesus Christ
purchased for us by His obedience to the Father through His death on the Cross of
Calvary. (Philippians 2:8)
In Numbers 14, God asked His people, the Israelites, to take comfort in the God
of their Salvation and to believe that He would drive out their enemies before them and
give them a place in Canaan where they could rest from their wanderings in the
wilderness. God wanted for them to simply trust Him so that He could bless them when
they entered into the Promised Land. Unfortunately, because of their unbelief, many of
them were not able to enter into the place of rest that God had given them in the natural
world or into the rest that God wanted to give them spiritually. They lost the peace and
prosperity that God had provided for them because of their unbelief and the hardness of
their hearts.
It is just as urgent nowadays in modern times that we as members of the Church,
also listen to the beckoning of God to enter His Rest. In Hebrews chapter 4, Paul gives
the Church an exhortation that warns Christians not to follow after the example of the
Israelites, who because of disobedience and lack of faith, were not able to enter into the
promised land that God had led them to. God declared that they would not enter in and so
the Children of Israel had to wander in the desert for another 40 years before being
allowed to cross over the Jordan River into Canaan. All the adult Israelites, except Caleb
and Joshua, died in the desert during that 40 years.
Let us respond to Paul’s warning with a reverent and Godly fear which is,
according to the Scriptures, the beginning of wisdom, so that we will not miss out on this
great opportunity that God has provided for us. We must be careful not to shrug it off due
to our lack of faith and say that it doesn't apply to us nowadays. The Word of God is accurate
and provides instructions for us concerning what we must do to enter into the Rest that He has
offered us.
In Exodus 20:8, the Lord gave to the Israelites the Law of the Sabbath for their
own benefit and also as a remembrance of when He rested on the seventh day from His creation
activities. (Gen. 2:2) He wanted them to cease from all of their activities on the Sabbath and to
remember that He was their Savior and Provider. God did not intend, however, for the ultimate
Place of Rest for His people to be a geographic location, despite the fact that Joshua eventually
lead the remnant of the people into the Canaan territory. Also that Place of Spiritual Rest is not
just a certain time that is set aside each week to pause from our work activities, even though we
should honor God by spending time in studying God’s Word, and in prayer and worship each
week. That Place of Rest that God wants us to enter is the one which He spoke prophetically
about through David in Psalms 95:8-11. God says that we can enter into His Place of Rest
“today, if we will hear the Word of the Lord and not harden our hearts.”
According to Heb. 4:9, that rest which was spoken of by David in the 95th Psalm is the
Sabbath Rest which still remains for God’s people for all eternity. The Place that God wants us to
enter into is that place where we rest from trying to win salvation with our own works and to
depend completely on Him. That Place is found solely in Jesus Christ who spoke and said,
“Come unto Me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My Yoke
upon you and learn of Me; for I Am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find Rest unto your
souls. For My Yoke is easy, and My Burden is light.” Matt. 11:28-30
The Place of Rest that God is beckoning us to cannot be found by looking on a map or by
completing a long list of work-oriented activities. We enter into that Place of Rest by totally
ceasing our own efforts to earn salvation and by believing on the finished work of Jesus Christ on
the Cross of Calvary. When we come to Him and repent of our sins, then, through the Holy
Spirit, He will give us His Peace that passes all understanding. And because of our belief in His
resurrection from the dead, we will be made ready to enter that Eternal Spiritual Rest that awaits
the saints of God in Heaven. Please come To Him and enter into “That Place of Rest” in Jesus
Christ today.

God’s Demonstration of Love
Lord I was blind
But you came anyway.
You knew I needed help
So you came to say:
Because I loved you so much,
My Son Jesus willingly came
To die in your place
And suffer your shame.
Because I spared not My Son
And delivered Him up,
He made the way
For you and I to sup.

Prophetic Words
There is a Place
6/23/19
“There is a place in Me says the Lord, a Rest and Peace that you can
only enter in when you seek Me with your whole heart. Come now, says the
Lord and enter into that Rest that I have prepared for you. I Am your God
and you are My people, the sheep of My Pasture.
I love you, says the Lord and Am giving to you the opportunity to
escape the pollutions of this world. Seek Me, says the Lord that I might give
you the Blessings of My Unspeakable Joy and Peace.” This is what the Lord
is saying.

Come to me, all you that labor and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest.
Matthew 11:28
For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world
through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,
they are again entangled therein, and overcome,
the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
2 Peter 2:20
Whom having not seen, you love; in whom,
though now you see him not, yet believing,
you rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
Mission Statement
Our mission is to seek out the new family and friends that God has given us. These include the lonely,
desperate and the hurting people who have been bruised and injured because of their life situations. This
includes Christian leaders and lay people who are in desperate need of healing and are seeking an answer
to life’s difficulties that they cannot find in the world. Our mission simply stated is to present to a lost and
dying world, Jesus Christ and Him Crucified. With God nothing is impossible. There is no ditch too deep,
any darkness too black, no sin too great but that the love of God in His mercy and grace can touch and His
glorious light can illuminate. No matter how bleak the future looks, He can heal, He can save, and He can
resurrect.

Pray and Watch
Jesus called us to pray and watch
And work while there is light.
We don't know when He will return
Whether morning, noon or midnight.
When He returns on the earth
Will we all be full of faith?
Let us keep busy for God's Kingdom.
For the Father knows the time and date.

Be Rapture Ready
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning
those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we
believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep
in Jesus. For this we say to you by the Word of the Lord, that we who are alive and
remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For
the Lord Himself will descend from Heaven with a shout, with the Voice of an Archangel,
and with the Trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are
alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in
the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with
these words.
Paul is encouraging the Thessalonians about the Rapture of the Church. We who
are saved and born again have the hope of a glorified body. Whether the Rapture takes
place after we die or before we die, we will all be meeting Jesus in the air Praise God.
Jesus is our blessed hope. The Rapture and Resurrection of the Church are one and the
same event. Jesus’ Resurrection is our guarantee that we too will rise and be delivered
from the Great Tribulation. Paul told us by inspiration of the Holy Spirit in 1
Thessalonians 4:15, “for this we say to you by the Word of the Lord, that we who are
alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are
asleep. Meaning the dead shall rise first then those who are alive after them will all be
caught up in the air.” Paul also tells us in 1 Thessalonians 5:9, “For God hath not
appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ.” This means that
God has not appointed us who believe, to go through the Great Tribulation. Luke 12:37
says, Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when He comes shall l find watching
Devotional Continued
“watching (living right) verily I say unto you, that He shall gird Himself, and make them
to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.” (Marriage Supper of the Lamb)
So, let us be faithful and get this Gospel out so that many can be saved.
Dear Heavenly Father, how absolutely awesome Your plan is for us who have simply
repented and put our trust in You. We have this blessed hope because You did it all. Help
me Lord to live my life to the fullest, by letting others know about the Greatest Story ever
told, how God came to earth on a rescue mission to save whosoever will say yes to our
Savior Jesus, Amen.

Come to Me
Come to me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Matthew
11:28
What a sin sick, weary world that we live in. It seems like that every morning and
even sometimes throughout the day that there are many current news notifications that
bring word of absolutely devastating events that are occurring in our nation and around
the world. Sometimes for whatever reason, adversity in a person’s life will cause him or
her to play the blame game and to point the finger for their troubles and for the evil
occurrences on someone else, or even upon God who gives us life and the very air that
we breathe. This tendency to shift the blame has occurred ever since the beginning, even
in the Garden of Eden. Adam blamed Eve for his disobedience to God’s Word and Eve
blamed the serpent, who was the devil, the original tempter of mankind. However, as the
old adage goes, “when you point the finger at someone else, there are always four fingers
pointing back at you.
There are many evil things that are happening in the world that surrounds us every
day, but pointing fingers at one another or blaming God, is not the correct or beneficial
way to bring peace to our troubled world. There is another common phrase that says, “No
God, No peace” and “Know God, Know Peace.” There is a lot of truth in this way of
thinking. Jesus said that we would not be heard by the Father God by simply mouthing
repetitive prayers and petitions, trying to sway His favor in our direction, but that we
should come to Him in humble praise and worship. We need to approach the Father God
reverently with a repentant and forgiving heart as He gave His disciples the example of
the Lord’s Prayer. He is calling us to come to Him. He has a plan for our lives and a
purpose for each of us to accomplish. He has the Peace that the world, so desperately
needs and seems to seek in every way except the right one, which is through Jesus Christ
who is the only Way to know God and obtain True Peace.
From the Archives Continued
In every crime and evil occurrence that we hear about each day, there is always a sinful
and rebellious heart or hearts of an individual or a group of people that is responsible for
the atrocities. We must all wake up to God’s Calling. The Church of Jesus Christ; all
those who believe in Him and in truth and sincerity, must wake up. We need to return to
the sincere, simple preaching of the Power of the Cross of Jesus Christ and Him
crucified. It is this Message that the early Apostles and especially Paul preached to the
known world of their day. It is the same Message that was preached and spread
worldwide by the Evangelist Billy Graham and his evangelistic team during the last half
of the 20th century. The Message is that the Atoning Blood of Jesus Christ, which was
shed for us upon the Cross of Calvary, can save us and bring healing into the lives of
hurting individuals from all races and walks of life. Best of all, He is coming for all of us
who love Him and are looking for that blessed event. He is coming again for all those
who come to Him and call upon His Name for healing and in surrender and humble
repentance. He will give you His Holy Spirit and bring Peace into your heart.
If a national revival of repentance were to occur in the United States of America,
it would be better than all the laws that the government could possibly try to pass trying
to prevent tragedies. Jesus Christ is the solution to the problems for which we so
desperately seeking an answer. Call upon Him today. He is patiently waiting for you to
call.
“And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and
minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:7

Big cheese in Church
Big Dave seemed to always fall asleep during the Sunday sermon. His wife, Martha, was fed up
and decided to deal with the embarrassing situation.

Groggily startled, Big Dave blurted out, “No, Martha, no, please don't kiss me now.”

Invitation of a Lifetime
Today is the first day of the rest of your life. Whether we believe it or not, our life does
not end here. From the time of conception, we became an eternal being, and when we
physically die we will leave this earth and go to our Eternal Destination. There are only
two places to go and that is Heaven or Hell. Let us clear any “misconceptions” right now.
The Bible does not speak of good people going to Heaven because there are no good
people. St. Paul made it very clear in Romans 3:12 “They have all turned aside; They
have together become unprofitable; there is none who does good, no, not one.” In other
words, there is no naturally good deed that can save anyone. It is only the work of the
Cross that Jesus died on that Saves. Salvation is a “Free Gift,” not anything we deserve or
can earn. The Gospel, which means the “Good News,” is the most “Vital Message”
mankind will ever hear. The Gospel is the only Message that has the Power to change a
person’s heart. St. Paul said in Romans 1:16: “For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of
Christ, for it is the Power of God to Salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first
and also for the Greek.” Once a person hears the Message that Jesus Christ the Messiah
and Son of God was born of a virgin, died on a Cross and rose from the dead, whether
they believe it or not, they will never be the same again. That's how powerful it is. This
Message is so powerful that it will harden an unbelievers heart if thy reject it.
