7 DISCUSSION:
Question 1
Explain step to change the value of resistor and power source from the circuits using
Pspice. (C3)[5 marks]

The way to change the value of a resistor is double click on the resistor section
and change the volume following the desired instructions and Set Attribute Value
box and then press OK.

The way to change the value of a power is double click on the power source
section and change the volume following the desired instructions and Set
Attribute Value box and then press OK.

Question 2
Explain the method to measure current and voltage by referring to Figure 2.4. (C2)[5
marks]

First of all if you want to measure the current you need to use (iprobe) so you
have to remove the connected wire and place the iprobe on the part you want to
measure then reconnect, To measure the voltage you need to use (view point)
and place it on the wire and measure.

Question 3
State type of transistor is used in Figure 2.5. (C1)[2 marks]

NPN transistor

Question 4
List THREE (3) terminals in a transistor. (C1)[3 marks]

Emitter, Base and Collector

8 CONCLUSION:
Write by using your own words, conclude the result and objective of the practical. (C3)[5
marks)

At the end of this practical work, we should be able to analyses the simulation for
the various types of simulation analysis based on the electronic computer aided
design concept, circuit theory and operation. In the result we can see the
different measure result R1 -1.015V, 734.30uA, R2 8.986V, 338.19uA, R3 0V,
1.123mA, R4 0V,50.73uA, IB 8.180mA, IC 897.21uA, IE 9.077mA
