IIUM Pagoh Academy
INTRODUCTION
ACADEMY is a sports program in Kulliyyah of Languages and Management
International Islamic University Malaysia, Pagoh Campus that focused on
several sports which is included Badminton, Archery, Table tennis,
Taekwondo, Volleyball, Netball, E-sport, and Futsal. Our focused is to give
opportunities to students or athlete show their talent in sports. Along with this
initiative, it can improve the quality and image of sports in this Kulliyyah.
Furthermore, this is the elite team that prepared to any games and any upcoming
tournaments.
In ACADEMY we provided our athletes with professional mentality and discipline
attitudes, it works by training schedule for a whole semester for them. The venue
and time, we are dealing with HPTP (Hub Pendidikan Tinggi Pagoh).
However, ACADEMY has their own weakness which is trainer and budgeting.
This problem we face it by, make a potential or experience athletes in that team
as a trainer. Plus, we are collecting fees from athletes for any equipment that we
need.

OBJECTIVE
1. Train and producing more potential athlete.
2. Improve sports quality in KLM
3. Encourage and built sports community.
PROGRAM MISSION: To provides a platform for those who are active and
interested in sports.
PROGRAM VISSION: To encourage those who are active in sports to gain
experience competing at a high level and give
confidence to participate in national and International
tournaments.

HOW IT WORK?
First, ACADEMY will
participate in MAWE held by
MRC which is one of the
Program that will exposed
and attract students to join
any club they wanted.
Usually, it will start in new
semester as welcomers to
new intake students.
From that, we will provide QR
code that contains google form for we have a strong data. The point is we
try to identify and close up to athletes that have a big experience before,
hence give an opportunity to who are interested play in a firm line up.
To summarize, that’s how we care about the sports talented in Pagoh by
bring them in an organizer which is ACADEMY that’s provided venue and
schedule to training for facing tournaments. In addition, we also help sports
of KLMSS and MRC committee members by preparing and producing
quality athletes.

JOB SCOPE:
In our team, we just managing the
schedule training, equipment needed,
and tournament only. We will not
organize a big event like KLMSS and
MRC handle usually.
However, we will manage an event for
our team bonding, and the target
participation are among ACADEMY
members only.
We will participate in, if they have any
club or society that want to collaborate
with us. In advance, we can attract more
crowd and promote it on our social media too.
To sum up, there will not redundantly job scope between sports committee of
KLMSS and MRC with ACADEMY.

How Our Training Work?
Academia’s will training by their
schedule and venue that already
provided. Each ACADEMY there will
have person in charge will lead the
teams. It was included inform and get
the names who will join the training on
that day.
Training session depends on person in
charge, usually it will have two different
training which is technique and tactical,
also sparring. However, again it
depends on the ACADEMY itself.
On the order hand, ACADEMY give the chances for students to enhance their soft
skills through manage, communicate, and bonding like a ‘Leader’.
