Early Arrival: You may attempt to check in as soon as you arrive. The hotel has been requested to
accommodate you as long as the rooms are ready before 4pm. If by any chance you
are unable to check in before 4pm, the concierge will be able to assist you with your
luggage until the rooms become available.
Covid 19
• As you know we are taking a number of precautions related to COVID to help ensure participant
health and safety including requiring proof of vaccination and asking you to test 12 hours before
traveling. We have provided an at-home test kit.
• To that end, you should have received a COVID test kit in the mail this week to complete prior to
traveling to the event. In the COVID test kit, the letter mistakenly mentioned being “up to date” with
vaccines and boosters. Please note that while we are requiring proof of COVID vaccine for this
conference, we are not requiring proof of boosters.
• While we will not be requiring masks at the conference, we support anyone who chooses to wear
one. We will have masks available on hand if you would like one.
• We will also have hand sanitizer available.
• Our Monday night and Tuesday night dinners will be outside. If you are uncomfortable joining for
dinner, please feel free to skip that gathering and eat on your own. Kindly let Tiana know.
• While we will space tables in our general session room, for those not comfortable eating breakfast
or lunch with others, please feel free to find a more private location around the hotel or your room.
• If you are feeling any symptoms that might be associated with COVID we ask that you please stay
home.

Transportation
Journey time to The Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort from the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood
International Airport (FLL) is 7.9 miles and is approximately 24 minutes. The taxi fare will cost around $40.
Journey time and fares may vary based on traffic conditions.
