Hello The Best Hotel team the city has ever seen;

November was a busy month but insAllah very soon we will see much busier days,
weeks, weekends, months and years. I am very confident that together there are so
many things we can achieve and make our hotel known as the greatest hotel
service the city can have.

It is not a brand or a product what makes a great hotel, it is our Hearts. Because what
we do every day is actually to show “Love” and “Care” for our guest and for each
other and you can only do that with your “Heart”.

Believe me; Guests will forget what you said, They might forget what you did, they will
not even remember how you look, But they will always remember how you made them
feel. Believe me; if you do everything from your heart then you will get everything great
in return. if you give a little love, you can get a little love of your own!!! It is that simple
and easy because life is all about choices and we choose in every minute in our mind
either because of our heart or because of our Ego. But we are never aware that those
choices actually affect our own life.

Long time ago, I found out only one truth in this life. if you show caring and loving in
anything in life because of any reasons or because of it is the part of your job
or your duty, you can’t never reach your dreams. However, if your caring and
loving comes from your heart naturally in everything you do, then eventually
it becomes your reality and you can reach the stars.

I think, what we did in November was a great example of what we
are actually capable of doing. Especially Road to Awareness was an
amazing success and You All did an unbelievable job.

Thank you for the Month of November and for everything we
achieved together. As long as our hearts are together, the rest
will be much easier.

Hotel brand Marriott International were getting on their bikes to raise money for some
amazing charities across the Middle East. It’s the 12th time they’ve done their Road to
Awareness campaign and this year it was happened here in Oman last November.

Chris and Rachel spoke to the COO for Marriott International in the Middle East, Guido
de Wilde.

This year’s cycle event covered a total distance of 447kms and over 6000 meters in
height across the three days.

• The first day the riders took a journey in and around Muscat.
• On the second day, the team rode from Nizwa to Jebel Shams.
• On the last day, the group cycled from Nizwa to Jebel Haat and back over a

distance of 146 km

The annual event featured 37 riders who have committed to raising a minimum of
USD $1500 / OMR 600 each for local charities.
The money raised will support children in need through 14 charities across the Middle
East and Africa., which includes Dar Al Att’a here in Oman.





National Day is celebrated by the Omani people on 18 November each year. It
precedes the birthday of Sultan Qaboos bin Said on 18 November. Because of this,
November is one of the most important times of the year in Oman. For most of
Oman’s citizens, National Day is a time of patriotism and historical reflection.



For Associates

Marriott has announced that starting November 25, 2019, employees
rates well as those under the friends/family discount will be eligible to
earn night credits toward elite status, as well as receive elite
benefits on their stays assuming they have status.

Previously, those who booked an employee rate
or friends/family rate would have to forgo their
elite status benefits and not earn any stay
credits. For comparison, Hilton allows its
employee rates to qualify for elite status, so
nice to see this change take place.

Town Hall meeting is one of a greatest moments where all we as a
Sheraton Oman associates come together and have a wonderful time.
We discuss various topics related to our business. We also recognize
our heroes, welcome newcomers and celebrate the Associates Birthday.

My day starts with sprays of perfume on my Dishdasha, and

to awaken my slumberous eyes, followed by listening to

There is always so much satisfaction in what I do, even
through hardship. In Sales, there is so much to learn, and I
believe it is science somehow, “Sales is not about selling
anymore, but about building trust and educating” Siva

In sales, when you close a deal with a client, that does not
mean it is a final chapter, because the legacy carries on in
hospitality. In brief, my job is to lend a hand to a guest to
have their maximum satisfaction at the right price, even
when the e-mail inboxes are empty.
