D. The People

Rashaad founded FRM Project management in 1988. During those trying years, it
was difficult to break into markets as project management was not recognised
as an important and relevant discipline during this era.

Rashaad developed his skills by undertaking small projects on a part time basis.
Having been given the opportunity to work in Malaysia for 7 years, this
contributed to his level of experience and confidence to manage projects to the
value of R300m upwards. Rashaad and his Family migrated to Australia in 2002,
but returned home to Cape Town to actively participate in the reconstruction
and development of the “New South Africa”. Rashaad is keen to impart all
experiences gained overseas into contributing or improving “the way things are
done”, introducing a more effective and efficient work culture to deliver projects.

Rashaad obtained his MBA in Malaysia under trying conditions by working full
time to support his family while studying part time. He has also completed his
Masters in Technology Diploma through the Cape Technikon.
Rashaad is currently a member of SAICE. Membership with the South African
Institute of Construction and Project Managers has been approved and is
registered as a PrCPM (Professional Construction Project Manager) see attached
