the summitpara sa Mapagkalinga at Maunlad na Pamahalaang Lokal

Launching this year is DILG Bataan’s “Bataan Got Talent”
Part of the relaxation activity of the team and just in time
for Christmas, DILG Bataan Provincial Office (PO) personnel
expressed and showcased their talents through a ‘lip sync battle’ inspired by
a popular television program.
Divided into four groups, “Tropang MESmerized”, “The Construction
Workers”, “The COMMunists” and “FanFAStic 4” sang along and
impersonated their chosen iconic celebrities.
The event gave the DILG Bataan personnel an opportunity to share their
talents, enjoy laughs and build team spirit.
PD Myra Moral-Soriano, CTL Yvette Cosio, Mr. Jose Mari Garcia and
Ms. Malou Santiago served as judges for the night.

The last quarter usually entails exhaustion and overstimulation from
all the work that had been during the entirety of the year. Rushed
deadlines, backlogs, the time that remains vs the time running –
everything just seems to be happening all at once that you just pray for the
time to slow down or for the new year to come sooner and all the work to
magically disappear. With so much to do and too little a time, we’re left off
with one thing – STRESS.
Total relate?
Proactive Bataan, as the center for human resource improvement for
DILG Bataan personnel, aims to address this type of concern by giving them
an alley in which they could process feelings of the individual and slowly
project anger, stress and fatigue into something beautiful.
Through stress management workshop – A mini pep talk on stressors and
solution plus immersing one’s self to music as relaxation.
Through art making - After having been relaxed, the mind is now open
for creativity to build imagery of things beyond what is simply seen by the
eye. The participants took the Iron Test by Christoph Niemann, inspired
by the Netflix series Abstract: The Art of Design, in which a picture may
be depicted as many other objects through rotation, duplication, and many
other transformations.

Gawad Samat is an award system that recognizes DILG Bataan
units and personnel for their efficient, effective and competent
implementation of DILG programs.
It also indicates how well the behaviors, practices and processes of
personnel within the organization can reliably and sustainably produce
outcomes.
Coined from Mt. Samat, the historic mountain and the highest peak
in the province, the recognition represents the highest degree of quality
of work in DILG Bataan, as its personnel continue to be the upholders of
excellence in government service.
Congratulations to the Gawad Samat 2019 awardees! And to the whole
DILG Bataan Team, kudos and keep it up. May we always continue to
inspire and serve the province and the nation whole-heartedly!
