Evangelization Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Stir in my soul the desire to renew my faith and
deepen my relationship with your Son, our Lord
Jesus Christ that I would believe more deeply and
live more joyfully the Good News.

Open my heart to hear the Gospel and grant in me
the confidence to proclaim the Good News to others.

Pour out your Spirit, so that I might be
strengthened to go forth and witness to the Gospel
in my everyday life through my words and actions.

God, our Father, I pray that through the Holy Spirit
I might hear the call of the New Evangelization to
deepen my faith, grow in confidence to proclaim the
Gospel and boldly witness to the saving grace of your
Son, Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you, in
the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and
ever. Amen

The New Evangelization begins with me!
Dare to be a disciple - delivering worship, prayer, service, education and fellowship!

The ABC’s of it all …

A – Assurance; The brain needs an environment conducive for learning. This includes an environment that is absent of threat
and supportive of confidence and certainty in one’s own abilities.

B – Meaning; Be meaningful. The brain naturally searches for connection and meaning. It is constantly trying to understand
purpose and significance.

C – Collaboration; The brain is social. People are built to work, play, learn, and live together. Collaborating with others is the
key to the learning process and human development.

D – Differentiation; Every brain is unique and learns differently. Understanding each learner’s social, emotional, and academic
functions help guide the academic process.

E – Emotion; Emotion drives our attention and our attention drives our learning. The use of emotion hooks and engages the
learners to the lesson.

F – Feedback; The brain craves immediate feedback. It is feedback that is essential for creating accurate neural growth.

C.L.A.S.S. – Connecting learning assures successful students. 2016

Lesson Plans should include; specific teaching and learning strategies, student activities, outcomes and assessments, re-
teaching, guided and independent practice opportunities, materials used, pacing and careful thought on student based needs,
interests, and current or seasonal events.
Lesson Plans are to be completed weekly and submitted via email to the school receptionist on the first workday of the week;
by 8:00 am.
A substitute folder and access to plans and materials must be readily available in case of teacher
absence.

Taking time to reflect on daily and weekly plans is part of sound educational practice and is an expectation of STE.
