from scratch isn’t always easy. So are here with some easy cake recipe ideas. They

ingredients, and they’re delicious (we could go on all day about that). You don’t even
need to turn on the oven, it can be easily cooked on a slow cooker.
Apple-Cherry Dump Cake
Rather than choosing between cherry dump cake and apple dump cake, make them both
at once. This slow cooker dessert will be popular with fruit fans thanks to chopped
apples, dried cherries, and a pinch of apple pie spice. If you want to make your dump
cake more indulgent, dress it up with a scoop of cherry or vanilla ice cream and add a
cherry on top.

Step 1
Lightly coat a 3 1/2- or 4-qt. slow cooker with cooking spray. In a large bowl combine
yogurt, milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla. Stir in next five ingredients (through salt).
Stir in apples, walnuts, and cherries. Spoon batter into the prepared cooker.
Step 2
Cover and cook on low 2 1/4 to 2 3/4 hours or until cake registers 190°F to 200°F and
centre appears nearly set, giving crockery liner a half-turn halfway through, if possible.
Step 3
Turn off cooker. If possible, remove crockery liner from cooker. Cool, uncovered, 10
minutes. Remove cake; cool completely on a wire rack. If desired, serve with ice cream.
To toast nuts, preheat oven to 350°F. Spread nuts in a shallow baking pan. Bake 5 to 10
minutes or until light brown, watching carefully and stirring once or twice.
