Volunteer Program



The Pure Heart program is a family-focused help
program for those needy. Pure Heart is organized by
Muslim Volunteer Malaysia (MVM) that introduced in
2016 began in SK Padang Jawa, Shah Alam with 88
families receiving assistance. The program consists of
3 main phases namely Basic Assistance Phase, Skill
Assistance Phase and Commitment Monitoring
Phase.
As a result of the effectiveness of the program, MVM
continues this program as a yearly program. In 2019,
MVM takes steps to improve the implementation
phase of the Pure Heart program after three years of
effectiveness. Starting in 2019, there are four phases
namely PH Santuni Squad Phase, Basic Assistance
Phase, Training and Skills Class and Commitment
Assistance Phase.

In 2019, SK Puchong Indah students was chosen to
receive assistance from Muslim Volunteer Malaysia
(MVM). With the help of teachers, MWM has
identified about 115 family need the help. Those
selected families was received the help not only
home need things but also team MVM will organise
several activities that would help the families to find
source of income such financial planning and etc.

On 27th July 2019, Muslim Volunteer Malaysia
organized a medical check-up for these families
and gave them some exposure and information
regarding health. In collaboration with Malaysian
Relief Agency (MRA), a health talk and medical
check-up session also has been organized for these
families. A total of 60 volunteers including 28
volunteers from Service Source employees
participated throughout the program.

The program started with briefing by MVM regarding
on flow of the program. The volunteers are divided
into several groups to prepare the Pure Heart boxes
whereby the Pure Heart box consist of rice, oil,
chicken, ketchup, drinks, potatoes, chillies and all
other home needs. These boxes are given to the
families at the end of the program. Other than that,
some of the volunteers are given task to do survey
regarding on this program and opinions. The survey
was conducted to collect the data from the families
that needed help from MVM such like wheelchair,
patient bed, milk, diapers and many more.

The families are given free medical check-up after
end of health talk session by MRA. Furthermore, they
get a chance to have consultation from professional
physician. To make event more excited, there was
lucky draw session conducted and those winners
were received pillows as well as hampers.

Team Netapp took an initiative to collect donation
from all the team members with total of RM810. At
the end of the program the donation was
contributed to MVM for their future activities.
