"Happiness can be found, even in the darkest
of times, if only one remembers to turn on
the light."
Note from the Director-Principal's Desk
“One ship drives East and another drives West, by the
same winds that blow. It’s the set of sails, not the gales
that determine the way we go.”
~Ella Wheeler Wilcox
We, at Lotus Valley, offer multitudes of opportunities to empower young
minds and provide an atmosphere conducive to the acquisition of knowledge,
honing of life skills and inculcation of ethical values. This gives us a chance
to tap the individual talents of our budding learners. LVISG TIMES is an
additional platform for students to unravel the new facets of their
personalities. I would like to compliment the luminescent efforts of the
learners for bringing out the 6th edition of the magazine in the ongoing
session. Wishing everyone the best to reach the pinnacle of success and the
heights of glory in all their future endeavours.

This is not a bad year,
Just some 365 days.
So not to worry; there’s a light, a ray.
There’s hope somewhere, and we will make it,
So go get some fruits and nuts, a whole full tray.
That’s just STEP 1, there’s still a lot left,
STEP 2, stay put and pray, pray, pray.
Covid – 19 is afraid of you,
So why don’t you chase it away?
It’ll keep you fit,
And the pandemic you could slay.
We can see what CORONA has caused,
Standing here today.
But, we will eat a balanced diet,
And, surely we will repay.
For the trouble the pandemic’s caused,
CORONA will decay.
We’ll always keep clean,
With a sanitizing spray.
There are different coloured masks,
We can wear one and be gay.
We can exercise at our homes,
That’s what I say.
We can make a run towards hope,
And it’s us, CORONA will obey.
This is a message,
And it’s to all I convey.
When CORONA is gone,
All of us will shout out loud... HURRAY!
HURRAY!!

“Time will not slow down when something
unpleasant lies ahead.”
I am a major movie buff. Chhota Beem has been my special favourite of all time.
Ever since I watched the show, I have wished to have an encounter with a real life
superhero someday. And very soon I realised that everyone has a superhero, who
keeps revolving around them ready at their service and so discreet. THE LIVING
SUPERHERO OF MY LIFE IS MY DAD.
My dad is not just an inspiration to me but to everyone around us. In addition to
being a good father, he is also a brilliant husband, an obedient son, and for
everyone who knows him, he is a humble and polite man.
He is always there to support me through the peaks and valleys of life and
recuperates me in my times of sorrow. He believes and has taught me the same that
life is a roller coaster ride of joys and sorrows, and we must learn to take
everything in our own stride.
At times he goes the extra mile to make occasions memorable. He also instills in me
the core values of life, through example. He is a very playful and lively person. We
are partners in crime - every day he gulps down chocolates and steals ice creams
away from the prying eyes of my mother. He is the best dad ever. I still wonder
why he chuckles and smiles at my curious questions.
I am lucky I have a dad who always dotes on me and stands by me like a rock. I
know I always have his back. I love him wholeheartedly and he is an inseparable
part of my life.
