our story
Learn4Life is a network of nonprofit schools that provides students with personalized learning, career training
and life skills. Each school is locally controlled, tuition free, and give students the flexibility and one-on-one
attention they need to succeed.
How We Began
Our founders were concerned about the dropout rate in their local community. Rather than ignoring the
problem, they decided to do something about it. They got together with other local business leaders and
began researching why students were not in school. They discovered that many of the students had obstacles
that prohibited them from going to school five days a week. The founders took away all of the obstacles and
matched them with solutionss for success – thus Personalized Learning through a blended-learning model
(much like a university) was born!
From one small learning center serving 30 students in 2001, we grew to become a strong, positive force.
Today, Learn4Life is a beacon of hope for thousands of students each year, pioneering the way education is
delivered throughout the United States.
How Learn4Life Works
We know that a one-size-fits-all school model does not work for all students. Our teachers take the time to
understand each student, and then tailor their education to meet their specific needs through our distinct
model of personalized learning, flexibility, one-on-one attention and workforce readiness programs. Each step
of the way, we work to remove all obstacles in the way of a student’s success. We offer more than a diploma.
With career and life skills, we help prepare each student with courage and confidence for life beyond high
school.

If it wasn’t for
Learn4Life I would
still be at my old high
school, failing my
classes and being
unsuccessful. That’s
why I am grateful
for Learn4Life.

kavara stone
Growing up, Kavara Stone had trouble focusing and staying on task with many of her school subjects. As a
freshman in high school, she became very depressed and after the death of her godmother, her depres-
sion worsened. Kavara felt distracted at school and was not learning or progressing. She missed many
of her assignments and stopped going to school for weeks at a time. Eventually, the principal at her high
school told her about Learn4Life because the school had helped many other students.
Having a mother who taught Kavara and her two siblings to always push themselves, never give up and
strive to be great, she enrolled at Learn4Life and soon found the support she needed to get back on
track with her education.
Enrolling at Learn4Life also helped get her out of her depression. The more she attended the more moti-
vated she felt. She could finally see the finish line to graduation.
Kavara learned that at Learn4Life, whenever she needs guidance of any kind, her teachers are there to
help. Her supervising teacher is her biggest support. At one point, she felt ready to give up on everything,
but her teacher got her back on track to finish high school.
Kavara is now passing all her classes and is set to graduate in May 2019. She plans to go on to college
and study nursing.
