Zachary Anderson Official/Congregation

Zach is super excited for DCT’s Hunchback. Previous DCT credits
include A Chorus Line and Spring Awakening. He recently travelled to
Budapest, Hungary for the international premiere of Hungarian Nights,
an operetta by Cheryl Kemeny. At Crystal Theatre, he will star in
Whistleville this November. Zach will be debuting his second original
musical, Escape, in 2018. He studies classical voice with Joseph
Santaniello. Sending many thanks to his supportive family and friends!

Jaden Bonfietti Congregation

Jaden is ecstatic to be back on the DCT stage! She was recently seen
in last season’s In The Heights as a dancer. Other past shows include
Footloose (Rusty), Fame (Mabel), and Peter Pan as the title character.
She also won the BroadwayWorld Connecticut Best Young Actress
Award in 2016. Thank you to her family and everyone at the DCT!

Jessica Paige Braun Choir

Jess is thrilled to be back on the Cabaret stage after being seen as Nina
Rosario in last seasons production of In The Heights. Favorite credits
include but aren’t limited to: Lorrell Robinson (Dreamgirls), Vanessa
(In The Heights), Mayzie La Bird (Seussical The Musical), Lincoln/Tribe
(Hair), Dynamite/Record Shop Kid (Hairspray) and Nehebkah (Aida).

Audrey Burns Congregation

Audrey is thrilled to be in her third DCT production. Since appearing
in DCT’s Fiddler on the Roof and The Great Gatsby, Audrey has been in
Fairfield Prep Players’ Carousel (Arminy), The Story Pirate Project, and
Into the Woods (The Witch). She has also participated in Fairfield Teen
Theatre’s Catch Me If You Can (Cheryl Ann) and The Addams Family
(Morticia). Many thanks to the cast, crew, and to her incredible family!

Joe Cardozo Clopin

Joe is beyond thrilled to be onstage again in another production at
the Cabaret. Previous credits include American Idiot, Hair, and In the
Heights. Joe would like to say thank you to everyone who made this
possible, and a special thank you to Kaylin, his folks, and Eli & Christy.

Josh Cardozo Congregation

Josh is happy to be a part of this show. This is his ninth production with
this company. Past credits include ensemble in Hairspray, Dreamgirls,
Thoroughly Modern Millie, Memphis, Evita, Miguel in American Idiot, Al
DeLuca in A Chorus Line, and Graffiti Pete in In The Heights.

Brian Crook Choir

Brian is delighted to be a part of Hunchback. His work at DCT includes
roles both on and off the stage, including Vocal Direction of Spring
Awakening and as Bobby in Memphis. Past roles include Tom Collins
in Rent and Coalhouse Walker, Jr. in Ragtime. Brian is a middle school
chorus teacher and choral arranger/performer. He is forever grateful for
the unwavering support of his friends and loved ones.

Abby Sara Dahan Congregation

Abby Sara is thrilled to be back on the DCT stage! Previous productions
include Evita (Young Eva/Children’s Ensemble), Fiddler on the Roof
(Shprintze), and Shrek the Musical (Young Fiona). She was also recently
in Gypsy (Baby June) at the Music Theatre of Connecticut. Thanks to
Christy, Clay, Lindsay, and Eli for this wonderful opportunity. Love to her
family, especially her little siblings Tal, Lia and Maya.

Sean Davis Frederic/Congregation

Sean is a recent graduate from Quinnipiac University with a Bachelor’s
in Film, Television, and Media Arts and a minor in Theater. His previous
credits include: The Wild Party (Mr. Black), The Rocky Horror Picture
Show (Dr. Frank ‘N’ Furter), The Pillowman (Michal), and Mac
Wellman’s Dracula (Jonathan Harker). This is his debut for the DTCAB
and he is ecstatic to be part of this cast.

Michael Ferrigno Congregation

Michael is totally stoked to be debuting at DTCAB. You may recognize
him from many performances at the Crystal Theatre where he found his
love for the stage in first grade. He played LeFou in Wilton High School’s
production of Beauty and the Beast and Sammy in the RCA production
of The Wedding Singer. Michael would like to thank his encouraging
family and friends for their love and support.

Zach Fontanez Choir

Zach is a recent graduate of the University of New Haven, and brand-
new to the DTCAB! Past roles include Mr. Twimble (How To Succeed
in Business Without Really Trying), Cedric Doyle (The Nether) and the
character named Stage Manager (Our Town), which is an important
distinction for him to make so people don’t think he’s cooler than he
actually is. He is grateful and excited to be a part of this production!

Marie Fulda Choir

Marie is ecstatic to be doing another show with DTCAB! Some of her
favorite roles include Teen Fiona in Shrek (DCT Main Stage), Fiona in
Shrek (Broadway Bootcamp), and the Minstrel in Once Upon a Mattress
(FWHS). She enjoys singing in the a capella group at her school and
was recently selected for NAfME’s All National Choral Ensemble. Marie
would like to thank the cast and crew for making this show possible!

Bonnie Gregson Congregation

Bonnie is proud to be back at the Downtown Cabaret Theater. Special
thanks to Christy, Clay, Lindsay, Eli, Brian, the production team, and this
talented cast for this fantastic experience. Credits include Connie in
A Chorus Line, In the Heights, Sweet Charity, and West Side Story. Thank

Bobby Henry Choir

Bobby is excited to join the cast of The Hunchback of Notre Dame. He
most recently appeared as a Featured Dancer/Julio in In the Heights.
Other DCT favorites include American Idiot, Wailin Joe in Memphis,
the Lion in The Wiz, and Margaret Mead in Hair. He is a veteran of the
Cabaret having appeared in over six shows over the past three years!

Mark T. Joy St. Aphrodisius/Congregation

Mark is excited to return to the Main Stage with this production of
Hunchback. Previous MST credits include Spring Awakening (Georg) and
American Idiot (Theo). Other credits include Twelfth Night (Toby Belch)
and You Can’t Take it with You (Mr. DiPenna). You can also see Mark in
the upcoming children’s theatre season starting with Dracula (Stiles the

Emma is thrilled to return to DCT after last appearing as James in James
and the Giant Peach. Favorite roles: Dinah Lord in The Philadelphia Story at
Wilton Playshop; Young Helen in Hollywood Arms at Eastbound Theatre;
Molly in The Happy Elf at Town Players of New Canaan. Emma has also
appeared in several films including playing the lead in the award winning

Maggie Kruse Choir

Maggie is thrilled to return to the Cabaret, last appearing in Fiddler on the
Roof, The Wiz, and Music Man. Fairfield Teen Theater credits include
Godspell (Jesus), The Addams Family (Featured Dancer), Catch Me If You
Can (Featured Dancer), Legally Blonde (Greek Chorus). Other favorite
credits include Oklahoma (Ado Annie), The Sound of Music (Mother
Abbess), Once Upon A Mattress (Jester). Maggie takes ballet, tap and
jazz at Connecticut Dance. Countless thanks to Christy, cast and crew!

Nicholas Kuell Phoebus De Martin

Nicholas is an English teacher at Darien High School, an amateur
powerlifter, and a guy who loves to sing. His leading role as Piragua Guy in
DCT’s In The Heights marked his return from a three-year hiatus from
theater. Past credits include Collins in Rent, Claude in Hair, Joseph in
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Gaston in Beauty and the
Beast, and Frank Butler in Annie Get Your Gun.

Alexis Kurtz Florika/Congregation

Alexis is ecstatic to be making her Downtown debut in this very
moving production. She has recently appeared in Jesus Christ Superstar
with Madison Lyric Stage and in the Earth Day Everyday touring TYA
production with Eesmarts/EverSource. Other favorite roles: South Pacific
(Nellie Forbush) and A View from the Bridge (Catherine). Thanks to DCT
for this incredible opportunity and to the talented cast and crew for the
unforgettable experience!

Lauren Lichac Choir

Lauren is very excited to be a part of her first production at DCT! Recent
credits include My Fair Lady (Eliza Doolittle) at Center Stage Theatre,
Sweeney Todd (Johanna) at the Edgerton Center for the Performing Arts,
and The Secret Garden (Lily) at the Bijou Theatre. She has been studying
voice privately for 10 years and made her Carnegie Hall debut in July 2016.

Isaac Liu Congregation

Isaac is so grateful to be part of this amazing production of The
Hunchback of Notre Dame. This is his second show at the Cabaret, his first
one being Hairspray (Brad). Other shows that Isaac has been a part of
include The Addams Family (Gomez), Catch Me If You Can (Roger Strong),
and Oklahoma (Ensemble). Huge thanks to everyone on the production

Perry Liu Dom Claude Frollo

Perry was seen last season as Kevin Rosario in In The Heights and as Baron
Van Swieten in Amadeus. Perry is a music and drama teacher/director. Not
crazy about being confined to choosing “favorites” but if pressured…film:
“The Piano”, musical: Man of La Mancha, food: All. Thank you, Susanna,
for your love and support; Ian for helping me memorize my lines; Isaac for
sharing the stage with me and Tommy for shedding hair all over the house.

T. Sean Maher Choir

has performed with DCT for the past 32+ years in both mainstage and
the Children’s Theatre. Most recently as Fr. Flynn in Doubt at Westport
Community. Recent DCT roles include, Meyer Wolfsheim in The Great
Gatsby, Mr. Simmons in Memphis, Whitaker in A Few Good Men (BTC) and
Molokov in Chess. Favorites: Morrie in Tuesdays With Morrie, & Chicklet in
Psycho Beach Party. Sean is choreographer/set designer for West Haven
HS and is Business Manager for the renowned Yale Glee Club.

Ben McCormack Quasimodo/Jehan Frollo

Ben is beyond excited to be onstage for the first time at the Downtown
Cabaret! He would like to give a special shoutout to his trainer Ricky for
keeping him in shape, his voice teacher Joyce for giving him the tools to
stay healthy, the cast and crew here for an incredible experience, and
above all his amazing, brilliant girlfriend Rachel for being unendingly
supportive in every way.

Cassidy Meehan Choir

Cassidy is so excited to be appearing in her second Main Stage show at
the Downtown Cabaret Theatre! Previously, Cassidy appeared in the DCT
production of Fiddler on the Roof (Beilke). Other local shows include the
Broadway Bootcamp productions of Shrek Jr. (Young Fiona), Bye Bye Birdie,
Jr. (Helen), Honk, Jr. (Downy The Ducking), and Annie, Jr. (Molly). Thanks

Avery Owens Choir

Avery is making his Downtown Cabaret Theatre debut with this
production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame. An alumnus of Sacred Heart
University’s Theatre Arts Program, he is excited to be performing again.
Past roles include: Spring Awakening (Schoolboy/Doctor), RENT (Collins),
Dog Sees God (CB), Death of a Salesman (Charley), Damn Yankees (Coach

Maggie Pangrazio Choir

Maggie has appeared at the Cabaret in Shrek (Dragon), Annie (Grace),
Pinkalicious (Mother) and numerous concerts. She has directed across
Fairfield County, including Godspell (WCT/Bijou Theatre), ...Drood (Bijou),
Dracula (BTC), and The Happy Elf (TPNC). She served as Musical
Director for FLHS productions of Mame, West Side Story and Grease, and
teaches acting, music and voice. Final curtain call with the last name Pangrazio.

John Regan Father Dupin/Congregation

John is thrilled to be joining the Downtown Cabaret Theatre MST for this
production. Past roles include You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown (Snoopy)
and No No Nanette (Billy Early). John hopes that this will be his first of
many shows here with this amazingly talented company. Thanks and love
to my parents and my amazing girlfriend Melissa, for always believing in me.

Sana “Prince” Sarr Congregation

Prince gladly returns to the Cabaret where he was introduced as Harry
McAfee in Bye Bye Birdie (DCT Jr.). Since then, he has appeared in
professional productions including Assassins (Bystander/Billy) at Yale
Repertory, Camelot (Tom of Warwick) at Westport Country Playhouse,
The Emperor’s New Clothes (Bob) and Singing in The Rain Jr (Cosmo) at
Bridgeport Summer Stage. He has played leading roles in school plays
including Lion King Jr., Shrek and Charlie and The Chocolate Factory.

Emily Seanor Choir

Emily is thrilled to be making her DCT Mainstage Theatre debut in The
Hunchback of Notre Dame. She has appeared in Shrek the Musical (Young
Fiona), Bye Bye Birdie Jr. (Helen), Legally Blonde Jr. (Leilani) and The Music
Man (Ensemble/Dancer), as well as NYMF participation and national

Jenny is thrilled to be making her debut at the Downtown Cabaret Theatre
in this production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame. She has been seen
in Broadway Bootcamp’s productions of Bye, Bye Birdie (Kim MacAfee),
The Lion King (Rafiki), Pirates of Penzance (Kate Stanley), and Annie (Miss

Renee Sutherland Madame/Congregation

Renee is excited to be joining DCT’s Main Stage Theatre for another
production! She was seen here last season as Bebe in A Chorus Line and
in the ensemble of In The Heights. Her most notable roles have been Sister
Chantelle in Bare: A Pop Opera at the Brookfield Theatre for the Arts and
as Peggy in The Women at Connecticut Theatre Company. Renee hopes
you enjoy watching her connect to her gypsy roots!

Colby Trembley King Louis XI/Congregation

Colby is thrilled to be making his DCT debut! Previously he has been seen
in productions at Saint Joseph High School and Center Stage Theater in
Shelton. Some favorite credits include: Pippin (King Charlemagne), Taste
of Sunrise (Roscoe), and In the Heights (Featured Dancer). Colby would
like to thank his parents, Ms. Bernadette, and everyone at the Downtown
Cabaret for giving him this opportunity.

Nora Watson Congregation

Some of Nora’s favorite roles include Helen Keller in The Miracle Worker,
Little Girl in Ragtime, Alice in Hollywood Arms, Kathy Cratchit in Scrooge,
Lina Lamont in Singin’ in the Rain Jr, and the Famous Donatella in The
Emperor’s New Clothes, as well as ensemble roles in Beauty and the Beast,
The Wizard of Oz, Gypsy, Oliver!, Peter Pan, and Evita. A huge thank you to

Recent credits include ensemble roles in Ragtime, Scrooge, Beauty and the

Kaylin is ecstatic to be back at the Downtown Cabaret for her second
show. She has performed with Curtain Call in Stamford, and with the
Trumbull Youth Association for twelve years. Favorite roles include:
Mary Poppins (Mary Poppins), Children of Eden (Eve/Mama Noah), and
Thoroughly Modern Millie (Muzzy Van Hossmere). Thanks and love to her

Alexis Willoughby Esmeralda

Alexis is a graduate of Western Connecticut State University’s Theatre
Arts Department. She is excited to be back at the Cabaret after being seen
last season as Daniela in In the Heights. Favorite credits include: Into the

Godspell (By My Side), And Then There Were None (Vera Claythorn),

Melissa Zambo Choir

Melissa performed last at the No Name Cabaret in NYC. She spends her
days serving homeless children through Covenant House International,
and joined the Hunchback choir so she’d see her husband (the music
director) once in a while. Although she and Clay have endeavored to
write two musicals together, so far their collaboration is parenthood of an
adorable kitten and way too much home renovation. She enjoys knitting,
baking, and dreams of world domination.

Eli Newsom Producing Artistic Director

Eli continues his duties overseeing all Main Stage Theatre productions here at the Cabaret. Recent DCT Directing/MD
credits include: In the Heights (Musical Director), Spring Awakening (MD), A Chorus Line (Director), Hairspray (MD),
American Idiot (MD), and Evita (Director). He also serves as Resident Musical Director for the Children’s Company and
has been on staff as a Director at Fairfield Teen Theatre for the past six years. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area,
after many years in non-profit and professional theatre as a singer/actor/dancer, he eventually discovered he prefers
directing and producing. Eli lives in Fairfield with his wife Christy, son Carlson John, and two dogs.

Christy McIntosh-Newsom Director

Christy is grateful to be working on this beautiful show, based on one of her all-time favorite Disney films. As Director for
DCT: In the Heights, Hairspray, Memphis, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Next to Normal, Dreamgirls. For the Children’s Company,
she has directed Little Red Riding Hoods, Fancy Nancy, Princess and the Pea, and Rapunzel. Christy appeared as Eva Peron in
the 2016 production of Evita. She is a proud member of Actors’ Equity and SAG-AFTRA, and has appeared Off-Broadway
(New World Stages, Abingdon, Metropolitan Playhouse, NYMF, Fringe), and regionally at Hartford Stage, George St.
Playhouse, Barrington Stage, Denver Center, Actors Theatre of Louisville, and others. Christy is also a local voice teacher
and audition coach, with students who have appeared on and off Broadway, on National Tours, and on national television.

Clay Zambo Musical Director

Clay is a proud member of the BMI Musical Theatre Workshop, in which Alan Menken began his theatre writing career,
and winner of BMI’s Harrington Award for Creative Achievement. Clay’s work as composer/lyricist has been produced in
New York, London, and elsewhere, including Windjammers, Greenbrier Ghost, Lost in Staten Island, Shlemiel Crooks, the
Playathons and the recent The Emperor’s New Clothes. He is thrilled to return to the Cabaret, where he also conducted A
Chorus Line, Evita, Fiddler on the Roof, ...Millie, Next to Normal, and The Music Man—and where, during intermission of A Few

Lindsay Johnson Choreographer

Lindsay is proud to be part of her 8th Main Stage production, from Thoroughly Modern Millie (Ensemble) to A Chorus Line
(Cassie) and lots in between! Choreography credits include Fiddler on the Roof and Hairspray at DCT. Outside the theatre
she is a pediatric occupational therapist but recently took on her favorite role yet: Mommy. Although her son was found too
cute to the play the role of Baby Quasimodo, expect big things to come! #thehamlischbaby

Adele Rylands Fight Director

An original work directing graduate of NYU and Playwrights Horizons Theater School, Adele is also a Broadway Stagehand
and IATSE Local One Candidate. This is her first show with the Cabaret. Previous fight directing credits include Broadway
Cares/Equity Fight Aids Broadway Bares On Demand (Hammerstein Ballroom), The Time Machine (Theatre Row), and
Manuel vs the Statue of Liberty (Signature Theatre). Thank you to Alec.

William Russell Stark Scenic Designer

Bill has designed sets and/or lights for over 325 productions including summer stock, dinner theatre, regional opera, and
regional and university theatres. This is Bill’s fourth engagement with DCT having recently designed the sets for In the
Heights, Spring Awakening and Amadeus. He is an Emeritus Professor of theatre design from Oswego State University
(SUNY). Since moving to CT he has designed for numerous theatre companies including Stamford Theatre Works and
Ivoryton Playhouse and also served as an over-hire scenic artist at the Long Wharf Theatre. He lives in Milford with his
wife, Theresa, an AEA Stage Manager, and their son, William, Jr., an accomplished upright bass player who is majoring in
computer engineering at the University of Hartford.

Jessica Camarero Costume Designer

Jessica is happy to be joining DCT MST for another season! She received her training at Housatonic Community College
and Western Connecticut State University. Previous credits include Next to Normal, Hair, Memphis, American Idiot, A Chorus
Line, In The Heights and The Three Sisters at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Phill Hill Lighting Designer

Phill is a graduate of Elon University with a degree in Theatrical Production and has been a regular fixture at the Cabaret
since 2007. Along with being a Producer, Artistic Director and resident Playwright for the Cabaret Children’s Company, he
is also the Lighting Designer for all Cabaret shows. Notable designs include American Idiot, Memphis, Hairspray, Spring
Awakening, and In The Heights.

Christopher Gensur Sound Designer / Board Operator

Chris has been the resident Cabaret Children’s Company sound engineer/designer at Downtown Cabaret Theatre for the
past eight seasons, and for four seasons with the Bridgeport Theatre Company/Main Stage Theatre. He’s thrilled to be back
for his 17th season! When not living at the Cabaret, he spends his time working on his novels. As always, he wishes to thank
Hugh, Susan, Phill, Eli, Christy and Lance and looks forward to another great year!
