teams at DCT thank you for your loyal support.

Hugh Hallinan (Executive Producer)

Dear Valued Patrons,

Welcome to the Downtown Cabaret Children’s Theatre. For the past 37 seasons, the Cabaret has
proven time and again to be the premier home for the best children’s entertainment in Connecticut.
In the words of the great John Cleese: “And now for something completely different.” Inspired by
the farcical comedies of the 1970s, this new adaptation of Goldilocks tells the story of the infamous
girl with the golden hair and the family of bears that she makes, for lack of a better word, bonkers.
One of the many joys we have producing original shows at the Cabaret is experimenting with
different styles of theatre from Broadway standards to British Panto, and now the zany whirlwind
that defines farce while still telling the tale of an ambitious little girl who must learn the value of
honesty and integrity. We hope you find it not too silly, not too sentimental, but just right!
Thank you for coming to the Cabaret and supporting the magic of live theatre. Thank you for
bringing your families and friends to share in what we call the Cabaret Experience. We hope that
you enjoy this and other shows this season and in many more seasons to come.

cheering her on!

The Cast

Lance Anthony (Papa Bear): Two bears in one season...
what are the odds. He also played Teddy in this season’s The
Christmas Elf. Lance also portrayed Mowgli’s best bear bud
Balloo in our production of Jungle Book. Over the years he
has been a number of Lions, Big Bad Wolves and Cats. Throw
in a couple underwater creatures, a duck, and a bee, and he’s
covered just about every class of animal (no reptile yet). Up
next, he is directing our Mainstage production of Jesus Christ
Superstar. Love to his two furry four legged girls at home.

Myles Tripp (Baby Bear): This is Myles Tripp’s second show
with The Downtown Cabaret Theatre, and he couldn’t be
happier. Some past credits include two National (Bilingual)
Tours, and other favorites like; Smokey Joe’s Cafe (Victor),
Twelfth Night (Feste), and Into The Woods (Jack). Myles has
a new single out called Neo, which is available on all digital
outlets. Myles Tripp has always had a love for the arts and
is proud to call the stage home. Arts and is proud to call the
stage home.
