Evangelism Committee

We, the District Evangelism Committee make the following recommen-
dations:

a. that every local church should have revival meeting at least once a year
observing the following guideline:

b. that self-supporting churches having revival and evangelistic meetings
should assume all financial responsibilities of the affair.

c. that the local church hold evangelistic meetings with the pastor’s initiative.
d. After the evangelistic meeting the trained members should follow up the

prospective persons for bible study.
e. there will be local evangelistic campaign for indigent and struggling church-

es.
f. Establish churches should extend help towards struggling churches to held

evangelistic campaign.
g. that the district and the local church should and challenge missionary-

minded members to sponsor church planters.
h. that the members of the Jesus Film Team will serve as the evangelistic team

of the district.
i. that each local church is encourage to have its own evangelistic team.

Finance Committee

We, the members of the finance committee make the following recommenda-
tions:

1. That the Local Church Budget be based on the total income of the church re-
ceived from the previous year minus the following:

a. Amount designated for General Budget and Approved Special

b. Amount designated for Educational Budget

c. Amount given for Special project of the church that has been ap-
proved by the DAB.

2. That the local church designated apportionment should include the following:

a. District Budget 12%

b. Education Budget 3%

c. WEF 5.5%

3. That all District remittances be remitted directly to the district treasurer
through the district bank account or send through cash remittances that charges
the least. District Superintendent should not hold any remittances or money
unless if there are some reasonable exceptional circumstances.

4. Sunday School, the NMI and NYI 10% apportionment be remitted together
with the District Budget, the general and approved special to the District treas-
urer.

5.That the District Treasurer visit the two zones to conduct training to the local
church treasurers with the pastor’s assistance. The visited church will handle
the expenses for travel and food.

6. That the District Assembly offerings, registrations and donations be used to
defray expenses of the Assembly unless otherwise designated.

7. That the honor roll certificates be awarded during the District Assembly to
churches and pastors who have met the following criteria:

a. A 25% increase of the total church income

8. That each local church should:

a. Keep a record of indviduals that give their tithes, but this information
should be kept confedential.

b. Have a 24-columnar financial book, using a uniform system of accounting
and recording

c. Have the treasurer render printed financial report every church board meet-
ing, and has to be posted on the church bulletin board.

d. To churches with an annual income of PhP 50,000, they should deposit
the money to any Bank with the pastor and the church treasurer as co-
signatories.

e. Under no circumstances that the church funds be made available for loans.

f. Assume the responsibility in paying the pastor’s SSS, Phil. Health support
as well as the 13th month pay.

9. That each local church should reconcile its remittance record before the district
assembly and any discrepancy should be settle justifiably.

Memoirs Committee

We, the members of the Memoirs Committee hereby report that God
called our beloved sister, Mrs. Jean Engcoy, to be with Him in heaven forever.

NMI Committee

We, members of the District NMI Committee submit the following rec-
ommendations:

a. That the local NMI presidents should have a basic training on missions at
least once a year.

b. That a missionary meeting be held once a month in the local church and
promote the monthly emphasis.

c. That the local NMI should have one-year activity plan that will be reported
during the district convention. (Mission trips, Adult’s camp, Revivals, etc.)

d. That all churches in the district be encouraged to read the NMI Constitution
found in the manual and NMI Handbook.

e. That the sources for NMI District funds are the following:
i. 10% local church apportionment, to be remitted directly to the NMI dis-
trict treasurer.
ii. Registration fees during conventions and seminars.
iii.Offerings during convention.
iv. Fund-raising activities

f. That the local church members should have pastor’s shower once a month.
g. That there will be an annual District NMI Convention.

h. That local churches will support and send delegation in the District NMI
Convention.

i. That all local church reports should be submitted a month before NMI Dis-
trict Convention.

j. That the NMI District Council will create a Facebook account name “NMI-
WMD” for information, updates and sharing of resources.

k. That each local church should have an emphasis on Prayer, Discipleship,
Giving and Educating on all NMI local initiative, program, planning and
activities.

l. That each local church must have a NMI Calendar of mission activities and
emphasis.

m. That each local church must celebrate Pastor’s Appreciation month every
October.

n. That local churches must have a copy of District NMI recommendation and
to be posted in the bulletin board.

NYI Committee

We members of the District NYI Committee submit the following
recommendations:

1. That the Local NYI secretaries should have a permanent list of their NYI
members based on their ministry focus as seen fit in the ministry context and
submit copies to the District NYI Secretary (for online profile).

2. That each NYI member pays(P50 : 30 for ID and 20 for membership) as
their annual District Membership Fee to be collected by the Local Treasurer
and be remitted to the NYI District Treasurer during first Quarterly NYI
District Council Meeting.

3. That the offerings taken during the Zone and District fellowships be remitted
to District NYI Treasurer.

4. That 10% of the NYI Local funds be remitted to the District Treasurer by the
local NYI President during Quarterly District Council Meeting.

5. The NYI Solicitation letters for raising funds must have the consent and
signatures of the ff:

a. Local: NYI President, Church board, pastor

b. Zone: NYI Zone president and zone adviser
c. District: Signed by NYI President, District Superintendent.
6. The Local NYI President should have a Quarterly monitoring report

concerning membership growth and other NYI remarkable activities. The said
report is to be submitted to the district NYI President.
7. That there should be Leadership Training for District NYI, Zone NYI and
Local NYI officers at least once a year.
8. That every Local NYI President must attend the Quarterly NYI District
Council Meeting.
9. The Local NYI should submit and maintain cooperation and support to their
pastor.
10. The District NYI Council should keep in touch with the pastors within the
Local or in the District level.

11. The District NYI Council must have an annual visitation to all Local
Churches in the District.

12. The Local Church are urge to be supportive to the NYI, for the enhancement
of their moral and Spiritual Growth whenever there are Local or District
activities.

13. That the District NYI Convention be held every December and each local
churches must participate and send their delegates during the convention.

14. That each local church must have a copy of the district NYI calendar
ofactivities.

15. That there will be a format for NYI local church report.

SDMI Committee
We the members of the District SDMI committee, recommend the following:

1. That all SDMI local & District council shall undergo orientation for better
understanding about SDMI and their roles, to be conducted by the District
SDMI chairman.

2. That there will be zone/district training & workshop twice this year for local
SDMI workers, preferably on February & May.

3. That each local church shall conduct SDMI campaign once a year to boost
the attendance & support, preferably on the month of June.

4. That the sources for District fund are the following:

a. 10% local church apportionment, to be remitted directly to the district
SDMI treasurer.

b. Registration fees during convention & seminars

c. Fund raising activities & sponsorship

5. That that there will be an increase of 20% in attendance & offering.
Recognition/awards will be given to local churches who will reach the
goal.

6. That the District SDMI will give award to outstanding SDMI chairman,
ministries director.

7. That all local church reports should be submitted one month before the
District Convention.

8. That there should be a separate Facebook account name“SDMI WMD”, for
information, updates, and sharing of sources.

9. That a copy of SDMI recommendations shall be posted in each local
church SDMI bulletin board.

10. That the local church is responsible for financing the expenses of the SDMI
chairman or council if invited to any activities such as orientations, train-
ings, seminars, etc.

West Mindanao District 30th NMI Convention

The 30th NMI Convention started with a joint morning devotion
with all the auxiliary delegates in the 3-in-1 district wide auxiliary convention.
The NYI led in singing praise and worship to the Lord. An intergenerational wor-
ship led by the auxiliary presidents. Rev. Dan C. Balayo gave a devotional mes-
sage emphasizing our call to mission. Rev. Balayo was challenging every auxilia-
ry heads and members to have intentional discipleship and strengthening missional

hearts. The devotional ended with a prayer.

The 30th NMI Convention was called to order at 10:00 in the
morning by Rev. Dan C. Balayo as the convention chairman. The bar was set by
the secretary that all monoblock chairs arrange in 5 rows in the convention were
all the delegates be seated. The secretary read the appointment of the convention
assisstants: recording secretary-Rose Ann Licayan, board of tellers and pages-
Elaizah Mariquit, Laarvie Tii, Janneth Catubay, Ritchie Ylaya and Christy Melen-
cion. The chairman call for the order of the day, the District NMI Pesident’s Re-

port.

The District NMI President gave her report. On her first point, she report-
ed on the monthly emphasis and mission of the NMI as an implementing arm of
the local church. She then presented some ditrict higlights and local church initia-
tives conducted by local NMI. She inform the delegates on the increase of WEF
and Desginated offerings for Global Mission. Lastly, she is challenging every
NMI members and leaders to equip and empower people to have a missional
hearts. The president move for the adopton of her report. Sis. Victoria Pañares
seconded the motion. The chairman asked for any questions and there had been
none. So the chairman ask for the acceptance of the president’s report and majori-

ty says Yes.

The chairman proceeds to the report of the nominating committee. The
following is the report of the nominating committee:

President: Leody Echavez III and Erlea Joy Monteadora

Vice-President: The next highest vote will serve as the Vice-President

Secretary: Angie Seville and Pie Marato

Treasurer: Noemi Lagumbay and Mary Jane Naquines

The convention casted their votes and the board of tellers collected and
tallied the results.

While waiting for the results, the chairman asked for the ministry report
of each churches. Since the time is limited, each churches were given only 1
minute testimony report on their NMI ministry and just pass their written NMI
report form for consolidation. The convention agreed on the terms and each local

churches shared their testimonies and best practices in their local churches.

The Board of Tellers handed over the result of the election. The secre-
tary read the following result of the election. (those in Bold won)
