In broad terms, diversity is any dimension that can be used to
differentiate groups and people from one another. It means respect for Painting
and appreciation of differences in ethnicity, gender, age, national STORIES
origin, disability, sexual orientation, education, and religion.

But it’s more than this. OTC thrives on enhancing diverse perspectives,
work experiences, life styles and cultures. As a source and driver of
innovation, diversity is a “big idea” in business and in society. At
PayPal we know the power of diversity is unleashed when we respect
and value differences.

                              ACTIVITY ZONE

The team mates were divided into 4 teams consisting of 5 members. Each team was given a chart paper with 3
different colors which were unique from rest of the teams.
The activity was to prepare a collage and portray any art or design of their own. The team mates had to do this
activity by not talking/discussing with one and other. They were also given the option to borrow colors from
other teams if they need.
At the end of 10 minutes each team came up with their own skill of art which was truly appreciable

The message which we shared through this activity was that the team which had more number of colors in
their chart depicts that they had actually stepped out of their team (comfort zone) and borrowed colors from
other teams (which reveals they were ready to include different people’s thoughts and actions in their day to
day life). And also had to make sure that their own team colors reaches other teams.
It’s about giving your colors and also simultaneously receiving their colors to make a collage.
This activity showcases on how much broad minded we are to accept others opinions/thoughts, their skill sets
and varied talents.
It also includes how open we are to give our helping hand to others when they need.

“Life is a beautiful piece of art work when the
ingredients of different hearts are put
together”
