Xavier a boy who had a wonderful family until the bankrupt announcement from his father Mr. Roger's company. "I'm sorry to say this to you all, recently we lost a lot of client and our company has suffered the loss of the money, from now on you guys don't need to work in the company anymore." Said Jack the boss. "Oh gosh..." All the workers felt depressed and expressed their disappointment including Mr. Roger.
Because of his father, he had a mental breakdown because of lack of money income and his career was ruined. His father Mr. Roger drank alcohol every day to cure his depression and eventually became an alcoholic. His parents always had an arguments every day for money. His father always abused his mother by beating and punching her.
Poor boy Xavier was upset and fear to see their parents fighting. "Dad...Can you please stop hurting mom..." Said Xavier with his shaken voice. His father felt annoyed and pushed him away and yelled "Shut up and mind your own business you little brat!" He couldn't help out even though he kept begging his father but it still didn't end well.
One night, he heard a loud sound coming from the living room, Due to his curiosity, he peeked from the side of the corner. He witnessed his father pulled his mother's hair and banging her head continuously onto the wall. "Bang! Bang!!" "Do you know earning money is hard and you just know how to use those money to buy those useless stuff!?" Said his father. His mother was screaming out loud with her tears fell down. Xavier couldn't move because of fear and his legs were shivering.
After that, he nervously pulled out the phone and called 911. "Hello, this is 911. What's your emergency?" Said the emergency dispatcher. "Help ... My father is hurting my mother..."said Xavier sobbing with fear and his tears falling down. "Well, can you tell me where do you live?" Said the emergency dispatcher. "4162 Brooklyn Street." Said Xavier. "Ahh!" Another screaming and yelling noises came from other side and he heard the loud noise of the flower pot scattered into pieces.
Few minutes later, a few of cops arrived and brought out his father. "You ungrateful child! I'll come back for revenge soon!" Even though Mr. Roger was resisting but unfortunately he was brought away by the cops. He felt relieved and sad at the same time as he already lost one his parent.
Xavier couldn't sleep almost every night because that 'one' nightmare that had terrorised him. He still can remember it until his adulthood. Because of his painful childhood. Xavier made sure he took care of his family and never turned to alcohol and abuse.
The moral of the story is argument between family isn't going solve any problem and is able to ruin their kid's childhood. Even though they already grown older, the scars in their heart won't disappear and will stay in the deep of the heart forever.
