GAP Pre-Assessments for Retiring Greyhounds

Greyhounds As Pets is offering pre-assessments for greyhounds as they retire from
racing. The pre-assessment process will measure the greyhounds suitability to enter
the Greyhounds As Pets program and provide useful feedback to the owner or
trainer regarding the greyhounds temperament and prospective suitability as a pet.
The assessment takes about 10 – 15 minutes per greyhound. Priority entry to the
GAP program will be available to those greyhounds that have already been through this pre-assessment process. For
further information and/or to book your greyhound in for a pre-assessment please ring the GAP staff on 9445 5399.
