Flipping OUT!!!

A “flipped classroom” switches around the traditional order of teaching. It challenges students to
learn how to take charge of their learning and manage their time, becoming resourceful learners .

A “flipped classroom” does not change the fact that students are expected to go home and do
“homework” every night. The only thing that is different is the type of “homework” that they are doing.
These homework activities are for science and social studies. These activities consist of previewing
and enhancing the unit’s vocabulary and subject matter.

I hope you enjoyed the tour of my
eClass page. Integrating technology

has become my passion.

I’ve enjoyed flipping my classroom. I have seen an
increase in unit test scores and we have been able to
do more hands-on and project based activities. If there

are any other questions, please feel free to ask.
