TECHCRED
ONLINE APPLICATION
PERIOD OPENED
MARCH 2, 2020

Are you an employer interested in participating in Ohio’s
TechCred program, taking advantage of funding to up-
skill your employees? If so, good news; the next online
application period opens Monday, March 2, 2020 and
runs through Tuesday, March 31, 2020. Not overly
familiar with the State of Ohio’s TechCred program?
Here are some key points about the program:

Employers can receive up to $2,000 for each current
or new employee who earns an industry-recognized,
technology focused credential -- and up to $30,000 per
funding round.
Businesses of all sizes are eligible. Hundreds of
credentials have been added to the program in
response to employer feedback. A significant number
of certifications are manufacturing specific, including
industrial maintenance and welding certifications.
Employers can request that unlisted credentials be
added to the eligible list by submitting a TechCred
application. Credentials will be considered by a panel
of experts as each application is reviewed.

Those who apply for TechCred funding have good odds
of success. Hundreds of employers have already been
awarded funding, many of whom are Ohio manufacturers.

WANT TO APPLY?

Take a moment and visit the TechCred website
and prepare to submit your application between
March 2 and March 31.

For specific questions \ regarding your application,
email the TechCred staff
at [email protected].
