Hey there!

Welcome to the team; We hope you are as excited as we are! We know our recruiting process can be a bit intense, as we always
search for the best talent, but you obviously nailed it, so well done YOU!

We always aim to do what's right and understand as the New Kid On The Block, it can be a bit daunting, so we strive to set you up
for success as best we can and help get you up and running as fast as possible! This handbook we created should help you with
the information you might need to get started, and will also be a useful signpost to point you in the right direction for further intel.
Here, you’ll learn things like how it all started, (pg 8), who's who in our zoo (pg 12-15), how to book those essential days off for that
summer beach trip you have planned (pg 25), and the best ways to avoid a fashion faux-pas', plus so much more!

How we work
And the tools we use

Mondians.com is our Intranet! You will find there our company materials, useful links, company updates and news about what’s happening
in Mondia.

When we communicate internally, with each other, we do so instantly, using Slack as our primary mode of communication. Slack is a chat client,
that allows you to interact with colleagues from different departments by direct messgae or in Chat Channels. Channels are typically open/public
so you can browse and join to discuss different topics as you wish. You can download Slack on any device and join the Mondia domain.

This the second collaboration platform that we use, which includes outlook mail client, calendar and email. We also use Onedrive and Sharepoint
to store and share documents with each other. Sharepoint is our document management &storage system that enables our teams to
work collaboratively on joined documents.

This is the system used to consolidate and build a centralized database of employee profiles. Mondians can use it also to request time off, see
when other colleagues have booked time off as well, upcoming birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, and new joiners. Moreover, it has an integrated
application tracking system module to create and publish job openings and record, review and track its status.

This is one of our HR systems that will enable us to boost our collaboration and overall performance through the continuous 360 feedback, self-
reflection, performance evaluation, collaborative goal setting / tracking and self-development tools.

Rules of Play
How we work together

Your first 3 months in the team

Within the first few months at Mondia, you will be guided through a personalised onboarding process which will be
shared with you directly on BambooHR as part of your initial welcome pack.
You will be informed of the onboarding sessions you will need to attend, who to connect with and the different
touchpoints with you manager and team. If you have any feedback or questions regarding your onboarding
experience or programme please reach out to our People Business Partner directly, and they will be happy to help.

Buddying up

When you join the team at Mondia, you will be allocated a buddy; a veteran Mondian who can provide
informal guidance during your initial few months and as you ramp up in your new role.
They can assist you with culture integration and orientation; help answer informal questions, provide
information on how we operate, and or support you in becoming more familiar with our culture. They will greet
you on your first day and show you around and let you know where the best sandwich joints are in town J

Time out

Annual Leave
To ensure our people operate at their best, it is important to take time to rest throughout the year. We
encourage Mondians to make sure that they use all their leave allowance throughout the year.

The holiday year start on 1 January and ends on 31 December; when a new batch of leave allowance is
allocated. We tend not to carry leave over to the following year, (only in exceptional circumstances), so do
make sure to use it all.

Your Manager is responsible for making sure leave requests are balanced within the team and managed
around our business priorities/needs. To request time off you can do so by using the BambooHR system, where
your manager and People Business Partner can check the calendars and work priorities and quickly get back
to you with an approval. We always do our best to make sure that you are able to take leave if and wherever
possible.

Sick Leave
Should you become ill and need to take sick leave; you should inform your Manager of your absence as soon
as practicable and in any event within 24 hours. Please make sure to also register your sick leave on BambooHR
so that we can factor in any sick leave entitlement you might be eligible for.

How we think about Performance

Probationary Review
During your first 6 months you can expect to have regular 1:1 meetings with your line manager, to discuss your
performance and progress holistically. During these sessions you will have an opportunity to receive and share
feedback with your manager on your time as a Mondian and your new role. These sessions are mostly informal,
and we use a ‘Tracking the path to Awesomeness’ form to help guide focus and development areas. When your
probationary period is drawing to a close, we will arrange a formal probationary review meeting to sign off as
satisfactorily complete.

Annual Mondian development strategy
This is our annual performance evaluation. Which we run each year (in our third quarter). All managers conduct a
formal review for each team member that has >12 months experience with us. We use this opportunity to flag any
Rockstars and High Potential talent and look at ways to develop and reward our highest performers. This process
includes a self reflection, and Manager review and goes through a calibration session at the end of the quarter.

Talent Mapping – identifying our Rockstars and plan for success!
On a regular basis, we take stock of our people and business, and build a map of the talent across the group.
Talent Mapping helps to make sure that we are growing our high potential Mondians as well as mitigating any
business risks by developing succession plans. During the Talent Mapping process we look at a number of
components, including: Critical Roles & People, whether we have the right people in the right roles, Risks of loss,
and any high potential Mondians and how to develop them.

How we think about Performance

OKRs
OKRs stands for Objectives and Key results. This is an organisational collaboration framework, we use to help focus
on the company vision and goals and achieve the following:

•Align personal and functional objectives with organisational strategy and vision
•Create transparency across the organisation in respect of priority, goals and productivity
•Ensure that organisation’s visions and goals remain in the forefront of our minds

We create transparency around team/individual goals and how they contribute to the business direction. By
using OKRs, we can see what impact we make on the bigger picture and recognise performance.

How does it work?
Business Priorities are set by management on an annual and quarterly basis; they are high level and in correlation
with our organisation’s strategy and vision. Each department then sets objectives/key results per quarter, which
should be the strongly aligned with the Business Priorities. Once the departmental objectives have been defined,
each manager will, together with his team members, agree on quarterly individual goals for everyone.

How we think about Growth & Development

Development Library

You will find a Development Library on Zugata, where we stock all our company training videos, guidance
documents, onboarding sessions etc. The library is also filled in with various articles, courses and Ted Talks to help
with developing your own skills. We are working on enhancing the offering on a regular basis, and encourage you
to share new content with the People team so we can upload it and share with all Mondians.

Feedback

We believe feedback the foundation of growth and encourage people to share feedback generously with each
other. By providing meaningful feedback, in a way that is structured and actionable, we enable one another to
see where we add value as well as where we can focus to ensure we continuously develop our skills.

Feedback is an integral part of building meaningful partnerships at Mondia, and we use Zugata as a tool to help
facilitate this. You can gift feedback to your colleagues by selecting the give feedback option which can be
found on the menu bar on the top left-hand side of the dashboard when you log in.

Zugata also helps to automate feedback requests based on work collaboration; you can even integrate it with
your Slack and Exchange tools if you wish, this will help you to see who you are working/interacting with most and
make your feedback more relevant/meaningful.

How we think about Recognition & Reward

We Play to Win! At Mondia this is one of our core values; we believe in recognising Mondians that contribute
significantly to our business goals & overall success. We set out our game plan, & the rules of play when it comes
to recognizing & rewarding awesome performance. We have three different types of awards:

1. Stars Award Quarterly award - Endorsed by our CEO Amadeo Rahmann
2. Team Impact Awards Bi-annual awards - Endorsed by Heads of Department
3. Team Huddles Bi-annual Team Activities

Public Praise is a way to recognise a member of your team globally on Zugata. You can recognise and reinforce

colleagues actions with Public Praise by selecting Company and then Public Praise from the left hand side menu.
The companywide recognition wall creates visibility into valued behaviours and traits. It is just a fun way of seeing
who is topping the league tables at any one time and keeps Mondians motivated to stay in the game! Plus, it’s
always nice to get props from a peer!

Travel and Expense Guidance

We appreciate the efforts of those who travel for business and want to ensure our colleagues are fairly
compensated for business trips and have appropriate guidance on how best to use our resources.
We use professional judgment when incurring expenses and trust our Mondians to ensure that business is always
conducted at the minimum cost and all non-essential costs are kept to a minimum. You can find all our travel
information and expenses form on our intranet: www.mondians.com

Avoiding any fashion faux-pas'

We are a relaxed team and as we like to be relaxed, we do not have any expectations of suits and ties here.
We aim for our work environment to be as comfortable as possible, and believe dressing casually, but smartly,
can help do that.
We encourage you to come dressed in what you love, but please be conscious of social conventions
appropriate for your location.

Email Etiquette

Slack is always our first port of contact when communicating internally, email comes second, but can also be a
handy tool. To help people manage their inboxes effectively. We set out a few basic rules of etiquette abd adopt
the following in our email communications:

1. We like to take advantage of subject line to help determine content. For instance:

• ACTION: XXXX due by XXX (there is a specific action for recipient in the TO line)
• APPROVAL: XXXX (the recipient of the email needs to formally approve/sign-off a certain decision/document)
• FYI: XXXX (this email has content that you will be interested in but no action required)
• URGENT: XXXX (this email has a required action that needs to be addressed within 24 hours)

2. Avoid sending long conversations and email chains. Instead summarise what was discussed so far, and state the
new call to action.

3. Think about the recipients

Use the “To:” field for recipients that have a necessary call to action. You can the “CC” field for recipients that may
be interested in the content but are not expected to reply.

In some cases you might want to drop certain members out of the chain, to do so you can drop them in to “BCC:”
and highlight that you have done so in the body of the email, so they know they are not going to continue to be
looped in. That way they wont feel like you ghosted them when they really they’re no longer in the chain.

Keeping things on a 'need to know' basis

Communication, Announcements and sharing information
From time to time, you will see communications coming from the broader business. We like to communicate
high level updates to everyone and keep everyone informed. Our Marketing team usually communicates Press
Releases before they are being sent out to the public and our People team communicate New Joiners/Leavers
through BambooHR. We aim to be transparent and love to share all information regarding our business,
strategy and future plans with you. We would like to ask for your support in making sure that anything we do
share, or anything you are working on, is discussed within the company, amongst your Mondians colleagues
and is not shared outside of our office.

Health, safety & environment

Mondia cares about the health and safety of all our people. Any workplace accidents or unsafe practices and
conditions should be reported to your People Business Partner as soon as possible.

Fraud

We will not tolerate fraud and have established procedures to prevent, detect, report and investigate
suspected fraud. Fraud generally involves some form of deceit, theft, trickery, or making of false statements,
breach of trust with the object of obtaining money or an other benefit. If you suspect that fraudulent activity
may have occurred, you must immediately report your suspicions to your line Manager and/or People Business
Partner.

Money laundering

We never condone facilitate or support money laundering and will comply with all relevant national and
international laws and regulations covering money laundering. Many of the countries in which we operate
have some form of anti-money-laundering legislation. Any instance or suspicion of money laundering activities
should be immediately reported to your line manager and/or the People team.

Use of IT systems and devices

Computer hardware, software and information stored on our IT systems are our property. You must use our IT
systems responsibly and primarily for the purposes of our business and for which they are intended. By using our
IT systems, you accept that unless prohibited by Law, we reserve the right to access and disclose all information
contained on our IT applications and devices, including all computers, mobile phones, USB drives and other
electronic media if required.
