Angles of triangle
Right triangle calculater
A right triangle is a type of triangle that has one angle that measures 90°. Right triangles,
and the relationships between their sides and angles, are the basis of trigonometry. In a
right triangle, the side that is opposite of the 90° angle is the longest side of the triangle,
and is called the hypotenuse.
Acute tringle
An acute triangle (or acute-angled triangle) is a triangle with three acute angles (less than
90°). Since a triangle's angles must sum to 180° in Euclidean geometry, no Euclidean
triangle can have more than one obtuse angle
Obtuse triangle
A obtuse triangle (or obtuse angle) is a triangle with one obtuse
angle (greater than 90 degrees) and two acute angles. Acute and
obtuse triangles are two different types of oblique triangles that are
not right triangles because they have an angle of 90 degrees.
Equilateral triangle
If all sides of a triangle are equal, then it is called an equilateral
triangle.
Isosceles triangle
If two sides of a triangle are equal, then it is called an isosceles triangle.
Scalene triangle
If none of the three sides of a triangle are equal to each other, it is
called a graduated triangle.
Exterior angle
The external angle theory is Proposition 1.16 in Euclid's
Elements, which states that the measure of the outer
angle of a triangle is greater than any of the measures of
the far interior angles. This is a fundamental finding in
absolute geometry because its proof does not depend on
the parallel assumption.
x + 50 ° = 92 ° (sum of opposite interior angles = exterior angle)
x = 92 ° - 50 ° = 42 °
y + 92 ° = 180 ° (interior angle + adjacent exterior angle = 180 °.)
y= 180 ° - 92 ° = 88 °
