Copy an Image in MS Paint To copy the selection from an image, Step 1: First select the portion of the image to copy using any of the selection tools. Step 2: Use any of the following two options to copy the region, Option 1: In the home tab, select Copy.

Option 1: In Home tab, select Paste option.

Option 1: In the Home tab→Click Paste→Select Paste from option. Option 2: From the Paste from dialog box, select the image from the required folder and click Open.

Using the double-headed arrow, you can resize the image as shown below, Use Undo Option in MS Paint Undo is used to cancel the previous action Option 1: Use the shortcut key Ctrl+ Z. Option 2: Click the left arrow given above the Home tab.

If you are not able to find the undo icon, then add that option to Quick access toolbar by the following step. Select Customize Quick Access Toolbar icon and select Undo. You can undo all the previous actions by continuously pressing the Undo icon/Ctrl+ Z to bring the original image.

Select Customise Quick Access Toolbar icon and click Redo. Zoom In Option in MS Paint Zoom in option is used to get a closer view of an image. Option 1: In the View tab, select Zoom in. Option 2: The shortcut key is Ctrl+PgUp.

To add rulers in the paint window, Step 1: In the View tab → select Rulers or press the shortcut key Ctrl+ R. Step 2: Horizontal ruler will be displayed at the top and vertical ruler will be displayed at the left-hand side of the paint window. To hide the Rulers, just uncheck the Rulers option in the View tab.

To insert gridline in the paint window, Step 1: Click on the View menu → select Gridlines Step 2: Gridlines will be added to the picture as shown. In the above picture, the image is aligned using the gridlines. To hide the gridlines, just uncheck the gridlines option in the View tab.


72 Oasis Radiant computer science Grade Two Show / Hide Status Bar in MS Paint Status bar provides details about the Cursor Position, Selection Size and Image Size. To use the status bar option, Step 1: In the View tab, select Status bar Step 2: Status bar will be added at the bottom portion of the paint window. In the given picture, you can view image details in the following order, Cursor Position | Selection Size | Image Size. To hide the Status Bar, just uncheck the Status Bar option in the Home tab.
