“Log Cabin” — This short par 4 offers one






















of the largest, yet more difficult, greens on
the golf course. The green slopes severely
from right to left and leaving the ball
below the hole is crucial for success. The
approach shot plays uphill to the green
surface which lies hidden from the fairway,
adding to the challenge to get it close.

finishing holes in golf! The 18th green, Hole 18
framed by the timeless Glen View Club
clubhouse and a gallery of enthusiastic
spectators, has been the site of many
historic events in golf. The tee shot must

navigate over a lengthy run of river to the
landing area. Approach shots must find
the proper level to provide a realistic
chance at birdie. The green has a false
front, so controlling spin is critical. This
classic match play hole will no doubt
provide some great drama throughout
the championship.
