CBRE WAH STAND DOWN On 1st November 2022, PCA
has conducted a standdown
CBRE STEWARDSHIP MEETING meeting involving CBRE
Representative together with L4
contractors which has been
held at F1 meeting room.
During the meeting, a lot of
information have been shared
regarding the recent fall from
height incident.
Sharing and speak up session
were conducted as to know the
actual problem faced by the
frontliners on site and
recommended action has been
proposed for safe working
procedure on site.

CBRE has conducted a stewardship meeting focused
on Boots on The Ground (BOTG) and Near Miss Data
Analysis.
This engagement session focused on the data
collected which include a jump in the number of
submissions for 3 types of BOTG which is hot work,
WAH, live electrical and expected to increased in Q4
During the session, data for near miss incidents also
been shared. Found that behaviour is the highest
factor for near miss incident happened. CBRE plan to
focus on frontliner human performance for Q4.

EPCM HSSE CONTROL GROUP MEETING

Monthly Control Group Meeting for the month
of November was held on 15th November 2022
by hybrid.
The main agenda of the meeting are mainly to
discuss on the HSSE performance for the
previous month as well as sharing on the new
information to all participants
Winners for HSSE performance for all
categories were announced and prize giving
ceremony was held .
Few incidents were highlighted to convey the
findings as well as observation were shared as
for example or lesson for L3 to implement on
site.
At the end of the session, a Q&A session was
held in order to improve the understanding
among the project and HSSE focal person.

PERMIT HOLDER TRAINING

Meinhardt has continued organizing Delivering Engineering Solution Globally
Permit Holder training which was
conducted on 9th November 2022 at
Meinhardt EPCM office.
The training was conducted as the
objective of the training was to
ensure all permit holder that will be
the person in-charge on site are
well-trained in order for them to
supervise the workplace.
They are required to identify the
hazards especially during work and
enables to put control to minimize
the risk.
An assessment has been
conducted to gauge the
understanding of the participants.

LCSC HEARTS & MIND PROGRAM

Hearts & Mind Program, an activity
organized by LCSC for South East Coast
region has been conducted at SH
Kuantan Bypass 1 on 30th November
2022.
Program were divided into few sessions
including Site Tour, Look for Best
Practices, Hazard Hunt for Improvement
and lastly, Human Performance VS
Compliance Readiness for the workers.
Team were required to present their
findings / answers as a medium to ensure
that they understand the focus of the
program.
Program ends with prize giving ceremony
and group photos.

HSSE JOINT INSPECTION ACTIVITY

A joint HSSE inspection has been Delivering Engineering Solution Globally
conducted at SH R&R Skudai NB
and SH Jalan Simpang Taiping site
under MHT and CBRE program
respectively.
This program has been led by L2
Project and HSSE representatives
as well as participation from PCA
team.
The aim of this inspection is to check
on the compliance with HSSE
legislation and identifying
weaknesses and deficiencies with
regards to HSSE matters and
sharing actions for improvements.
All findings been corrected
immediately and to ensure no
repetition in future

SITE HSSE VISIT AND AUDIT

Series of site HSSE audit has been planned and
organized by internal team to ensure that the
project is carried out on the site in accordance
with all the requirements set by the client for both
under Meinhardt and CBRE program.
During the audit, all latest information have been
shared to the site team as to ensure they are
equipped with the knowledge and information and
recommend for any improvement needed.

LIFTING SUPERVISOR TRAINING Delivering Engineering Solution Globally

As part of the Shell requirement on
lifting activity, PCA has registered one
of the staffs to attend lifting supervisor
training.
The two-days training was conducted
as the objective of the training was to
ensure the participants know their
responsibility for overseeing the set-
up, maintenance and safe and
efficient operations of the lifting
equipment.
They are responsible for coordinating
and supervising all lifting activities in
accordance with regulations and is
required to be present during all lifting
operations. An assessment has been
conducted to gauge the
understanding of the participants.

BASIC SCAFFOLDING TRAINING

On 8th November 2022
until 15th November
2022, PCA staff has
joined a basic scaffolding
training at HRSB Training
Sdn Bhd, Melaka in order
to be able to be DOSH
registered scaffolder.
The objective of the
training is to ensure the
participants are capable
to erect and dismantle
scaffold correctly before
capable to inspect and
identify any hazard on
the scaffold structure.

MANAGEMENT REVIEW MEETING

A Management Review Meeting has Delivering Engineering Solution Globally
been conducted on 25th November
2022.
The main agenda of the meeting are
mainly to discuss on the QHSE
performance throughout the year as
well as sharing on the new information
to all the representatives.
Previous minutes meeting has been
recalled to keep on track the progress
of the issues discussed. Findings
during the internal audit have been
communicated to ensure no repetition
in future.
At the end of the session, a Q&A
session was held in order to improve
the understanding among all the
representatives.
