Moral values

We must be grateful in our life because we are
loved by a lot of people. This is because Joseph
Merrick was always laughed at by people because
of his ugly appearances and did not have any
friends.

We must always be kind to people even though they
have ugly appearances and try to help them. This
is proved when Dr Frederick Treves told the
chairman of the London Hospital about the
condition of Joseph Merrick. The chairman wrote a
letter to the editor of The Times newspaper so
that there will be a permanent home for him.

We must have an indomitable spirit and never give
up on life. This is shown when Joseph Merrick
always worked hard to socialize with people
around him even though he had ugly appearances.
