SECOND PAGE

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO UNDERSTAND YOURSELF? WHAT DOES THIS
COURSE CONTRIBUTED TO YOU?

As a human being, I can spend ages worrying about my human
relationship. The only relationship that matters in life, though, is the one I

have with myself.

When you're in charge of your thoughts, it is critical to know or
comprehend yourself. You may move on to nurturing, growing,
developing, thriving, and flourishing after you know who you are and
what you stand for in life. You are the expert of your own self if you
know what works and what is healthy for you. You are the person you are.

This course helped me realize that getting to know oneself is a journey.
It's about figuring out who I really am. It's about allowing myself to
realize the deeper reality of who I am. This course taught me that

knowing oneself requires courage and a commitment to peel back layers
one at a time.

THIRD PAGE PHYSICAL SELF

“ Just because we have insecurities doesn’t mean we need
fixed” - Mik Zazon

I grew up watching and hearing people where being skinny or
normal should the living standard. Everyday I woke up and
standing in front of the mirror to look at myself asking myself
“ should I change myself?”. Walking everyday feeling insecure
in new situations and around unknown people. But then, one
day I woke up and tell to myself that “stop trying to fix your
body”. It’s not all bad at all having this insecurity because I
started lovin myself more. I am notthe one with a problem,
society is. I am rare. I am comfortable. I am perfectly imperfect.

FOURTH PAGE ( SOCIAL SELF)

“ Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.” - Oscar Wilde

I grew up in a family where we constantly gave help to people who
needed our help, whether that help was small or big. My family taught me
to be kind and to respect people around me. Giving hands to people is
being socially aware. Now, I have adopted those characteristics to the
point where every day I talk to people and laugh with them. I am not
afraid to socialize with people. I don’t fear the thought "do not talk to
people whom you don’t know" because my mindset is that in order to
have a better social life, talking to people whom I don’t know well will
give me some understanding as well. From childhood to present, I have
been able to express myself socially to my friends and those around me.

FIFTH PAGE ( MATERIAL SELF)

“ Happiness doesnt come from money and material things, but from the
self-expression they can offer you.” - Randy Gage

The finest feeling I could possibly have is growing up beside a
sister/best friend. I spent my childhood watching her shop for herself.
I'm now spending a lot of money on meals, cosmetics, and clothing.
Knowing that I bought something for myself, no matter how large or
tiny, makes me pleased. I always told myself that if I was delighted
with the items I purchased, why should I stop?

Yes, I feel that material items should not be utilized to achieve
happiness because not everyone can afford to buy everything they
want. However, it is OK to reward yourself with material goods. You
deserve it if it makes you happy.

SIXTH PAGE (DIGITAL SELF)

‘Technology is great if we are in control of it. It is not so great if it takes
control of us.” - CTTO

I started using technology when I’m in high school, and im glad with that,
because, nowadays, children using digital devices at an early age. I only
use digital devices when needed but I admit if I can’t control myseld and
when im bored it is my happiness to take away my boredom but I ssure
you I don’t abuse it. I still love the feeling of laughing an dtaliking to my
family and friends rather than spending time with my devices.

Please digital self, as technology eveolves, know your limits from using
it.Don’t let digital devices control you. As you are behind the screen, be
true to yourself.

SEVENTH PAGE (SPIRITUAL SELF)

“ The most good you can do for yourself spiritually is to live your life
with total love, conviction, and purpose.

I think about it every day since I have friends who are engaged in religion
and I am not. "Why can't I go to church where I'm surrounded by friends
who always go to church?" I wondered as I observed individuals around
me attending churches yet gossiping about others. They show no respect
for others and engage in wasteful behavior. I understand that this may
seem discouraging, but I always tell myself, "It's alright to be spiritual
rather than religious." Every day, I make a prayer to God. When I'm low,
I go to him for assistance. I may not always attend church, but I am
confident that I will always worship and praise God in my heart. Amen.

EIGTH PAGE ( POLITICAL SELF)

If I can be a leader or have a voice in community, I consider it a privilege.
If I am given the opportunity to campaign or speak in a community, I will
advocate for "Give children access to success." Many children in other
communities are unable to finish their education due to financial
constraints. Poor children require everyday necessities to stay in school. I
want children to understand that even if they are behind in school, there is
still chance for them to catch up. And that we must live up to our own
expectations.

NINTH PAGE ( REALITY)

Growing up, I loved playing with dogs and they became my favorite pet.
I love reading, whether it is online or not, and now reading is my favorite
thing to do when I’m stressed. I've loved singing since I was a child, but
now I love it more if I'm singing with my friends. When I’m bored, I play
online games. I love watching movies, and my favorite is the Divergent
Series. I am happy because I have enjoyed my life since childhood and
have graduated from high school, which makes me happy and proud of
myself because I have made my parents proud of me. Now that I'm about
to embark on my career path, I'm hoping for the best.

TENTH PAGE (FUTURE SELF)

“ The best way to predict your future is to create it.” - Abraham Lincoln

Hello, Alyssa, 10 years in the future.

I don’t know if the life there is hard but I guess it is enjoyable right?
Because I know that your wish in life came true but if your still thriving
to success, I just want to tell you if the life is really hard there, please
don’t give up.You will achieve your goals. I know because being an
engineer is really the one for you. Well, do your own path because you
wil be the one walking on it.

As things shift and change, I hope you remember:
There are people who are always in your back, just let them know if you
need them, they are one call away.

Keep fighting future self.
You will not fail you.
