GREEN LIBRARY

A green library is also known as a sustainable library
built with environmental concern in mind. A green
library is designed to minimize negative impact on
the natural environment and maximized indoor envi-
ronmental quality by means of careful site selection
or basically environmental design.

BOOK DONATION CAMP ‘

Gift A Book and Get A Friend Programme has been organized by KV
Pattom in connection with the International School Library Month (ISLM)
2013, celebrated in school libraries globally. The aim of this initiative to
connect with the people outside the school and share the resources with
them.

Celebrating the spirit of Reading

It was a festival of letters at KV Chitrakoot from 27th Nov. 2018 The Na-
tional library week was organized by the library media centre on these
days. The Readers Club had a handful of surprises for the students. The
week was inaugurated by the Principal of KV Chitrakoot who gave an
enlightening talk on books and publications and also about the origin of
literature and other disciplines from the universe of knowledge.
