คำนำ

รายงานเล่มนี้จัดทำเพื่อเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของวิชาภาษาอังกฤษ เพื่อ
ให้ได้ศึกษาความรู้ในเรื่องราว Expression โดยได้ศึกษาผ่าน
แหล่งข้อมูลต่างๆโดยรายงานเล่มนี้มีเนื้อหาเกี่ยวกับการอธิบาย
ในเรื่องของ Expression การทำแบบทดสอบก่อนเรียนและ

หลังเรียน
ผู้จัดทำคาดหวังเป็นอย่างยิ่งว่าการจัดทำรายงาานฉบับนี้จะเป็น

If Clauses

Conditional clauses หรือในบางทีก็เรียกว่า Conditional
sentences นั้นคือประโยคเงื่อนไข นั่นเองซึ่งประโยคเงื่อนไขนั้นมักจะ
ประกอบด้วยสองประโยคหรือมากกว่านั้น โดยมักจะมีการใช้คำว่า If หรือ
ถ้าแปลเป็นไทยก็คือคำว่า ถ้า นั่นเอง เช่น ถ้าฉันขับรถแล้วจะถึงที่หมายเร็ว

กว่าการเดิน เป็นต้น
Conditional sentences นั้นมีกี่แบบและประกอบด้วยอะไรบ้าง
ในหลายตำรานั้น Conditional sentences นั้นมีอยู่ด้วยกันสามแบบ แต่
ในความเป็นจริงแล้วประโยคนั้นอาจมีการผสมด้วยรูปแบบที่แตกต่างกัน
ออกไปในหลายรูปแบบเนื่องด้วยภาษาและหลักไวยากรณ์นั้นมีการ
เปลี่ยนแปลงจึงทำให้ในบางตำราได้เพิ่ม Conditional sentences ที่

เรียกว่า Mixed conditional sentences เข้ามาด้วย
เพื่อไม่ให้เป็นการเสียเวลา บริติช เคานซิล อยากพาคุณมาเรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับ
Conditional sentences ในแบบต่างๆ โดยในบทความนี้จะพาคุณมา
เรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับ Conditional sentences ในแบบแรกที่เรียกว่า Zero

conditional sentences กัน ถ้าพร้อมแล้วก็มาเริ่มกันเลย

If Clauses

1. ZERO CONDITIONAL SENTENCES หรือประโยคเงื่อนไขแบบแรก
Zero conditional sentences นั้นจะเป็นประโยคที่ใช้กับเงื่อนไขหรือ

เหตุการณ์ที่เป็นความจริง ซึ่งรูปแบบของประโยคนั้นจะใช้ Present
simple ทั้งประโยคหลักหรือ Main clause และประโยคเงื่อนไข หรือ if

clauses
โครงสร้างหลักไวยากรณ์ของ Zero Conditional Sentences: If

subject + verb 1, subject + verb 1
ตัวอย่างประโยคที่ 1

If it rains, the road gets wet.
ความหมาย ถ้าฝนตก ถนนก็จะเปียก

ตัวอย่างประโยคที่ 2
If you heat water, it boils.
ความหมาย ถ้าให้ความร้อนกับน้ำ น้ำจะเดือด หรือถ้าต้มน้ำ น้ำจะเดือด
วิธีใช้: ใช้กับเหตุการณ์ที่เป็นความจริง
Zero conditional sentences ใช้สำหรับพูดถึงความจริงทั่วไป โดย
ใช้ present simple ในประโยคทั้งสองประโยค (ประโยคหนึ่งจะอยู่ใน
รูปของ if-clause ส่วนอีกประโยคจะอยู่ในรูปของ main-clause ค่ะ)
If + present simple, …. present simple. (คนไทยมักจะเขียนว่า If
+ subject + V1, subject + V1)
ประโยคแบบ zero conditional sentences ใช้พูดถึงกรณีที่ถ้าเกิดสิ่ง
หนึ่ง ต้องเกิดอีกสิ่งหนึ่งเสมอ เช่น
If water reaches 100 degrees, it boils.
เมื่ออุณหภูมิน้ำสูงเท่ากับ 100 องศาเซลเซียส น้ำจะเดือดเสมอ
If I eat peanuts, I get sick.

ถ้าฉันกินถั่วลิสงฉันจะแพ้
ซึ่งประโยคลักษณะนี้ เราจะใช้คำว่า when (เมื่อ) แทน if ก็ได้
