I hope you and your families are staying safe and keeping well. We all
understand how difficult this period is for us all and the release of
playing or watching football is not there either. At this point in time
it appears there’ll be no resumption of football until March at the
earliest.

Remembered

On the morning of the 30th January, the club received the sad news
that it’s Life President Nevil Jeynes had passed away following a
short illness. Stephen Austin, Margaret and Michael Turner pay their
respects to the man dubbed ‘mr dudley town’.

A SEASON TO REMEMBER 1995-1996

OFFICIAL GRESLEY ROVERS MATCH REPORT

Never mind more glory there was noth-
ing but gloom and despair for Gresley
Rovers as they crashed dismally out of
the FA Cup at the very first hurdle on Sat-
urday. Perhaps Steve Dolby's team, who
was famous progress in the competition
last season marked one of the pinnacles
of their recent success, were already
thinking of more big days to come when
they took to the Moat Ground against
Dudley Town, but soccer's greatest
knockout competition is littered with
broken dreams and usurped heroes.
