repeat of that today would be great.

SgHaAlUeN Today's game against a very good side, will be I’m
sure, a very tough one and with no football last week-
end, it’s given us an opportunity to spend more time on

the training ground.

It’s been good to get Matt Briggs and Ryan Woodford

back in training and although a bit short of match fit-
ness, they both are massive for our squad, also Billie

Bursari is back in training and looking good.
I’m hoping by the end of the month he will be able to
be selected to play.

Obviously in last weekend's notes I had spoken about

the sad loss of our Queen, who, for me was an amazing
lady - and to call off last weekend's programme as a
mark of respect was the correct choice.

THE BOSS john

Having been at the helm at the Winterfield Road
since the close season of 2017-2018, Rendell has
led his charges on a journey of progression. Flirt-
ing with relegation in his first couple of seasons
in charge, last season saw Rovers finish 9th, the
best season they have enjoyed since 2014.

A goalkeeper by trade, Rendell started his
career with Football League outfit Cardiff City before
moving on to be part of Paulton’s promotion win-
ning side that gained Southern League status in
2004.

He also featured for Bitton as well as ap-
pearing for fellow Southern League clubs Mangots-
