International Relations 11 Ankit Das, an NCU student, embarked on an extraordinary journey of learning and innovation by participating in the ASU Summer Experience on Sustainable and Innovative Solutions from June 19th to June 30th, 2023. Immersing himself in the vibrant atmosphere of the stunning campus of Arizona State University, USA, Ankit joined a diverse group of students from across the globe. He enthusiastically embraced the true essence of student life in the US, engaging in enriching lectures and experiencing campus living fi rsthand with a $1000 scholarship from NCU. The exploration of sustainable solutions during this programme holds the potential to signifi cantly infl uence the trajectory of Ankit’s future career. International Relations 13 The Summer Immersion Programme on ‘Sustainability and Innovation’ held from 5th July to 19th July, 2022, at Arizona State University, USA, off ered a unique opportunity to 4 NCU students – Rivika Dalal, Jahanvi Sachdeva, Nishit Sangwan and Arnav Saini. Each of them received a $1000 scholarship from NCU to further their knowledge in sustainability, innovation and entrepreneurship. Throughout this immersive experience, they actively engaged in hands-on training, stimulating discussions and innovative learning methods that signifi cantly deepened their understanding of these vital subjects. The programme was open to undergraduate and graduate students, faculty as well as alumni, fostering a diverse and enriching learning environment. They participated in guided tours, industrial visits and engaging presentations and workshops across the city. This experiential journey expanded our students’ horizons, fostering a profound appreciation for Japan’s beauty and warm people.
