How to Cancel a Print Job
Summary: Procedure to properly cancel a print job on an iJetColor press.
Applicable Products: iJetColor Press
Tools/Parts Required: None
If you have released a print job to the iJetColor printer and then discover that it is incorrect for some reason you may
need to cancel the job after it has already started printing. This document will show you the proper way to cancel the
job. If the job is cancelled incorrectly it can cause the printer to be locked up and may need to be rebooted.
1. Pause the printing by pressing the “Pause/Cancel” button on the front of the printer one time. This will pause
the printing of the job. Wait a few seconds until printing has stopped.
2. If the job you are printing contains multiple unique pages (variable data) and it is still processing, you may have
to cancel the job in the RIP. If it is not a multiple page job or if you are not printing through the RIP you can skip
this step and go to step 3.
A) Click on the icon for the Navigator or mColor RIP in the windows taskbar.
