As standard your Aztec fire table is fitted with manual gas valve controls. To operate these first locate the controls on the
side of your fire table and ensure the main gas control (either on top of the cylinder for bottle gas, or at the control valve for

domestic gas) is turned on.

Note: if this is the first time the gas fire table has been used, any air in the system will have to be purged before the table
can be lit successfully. Please refer to the burner manual for guidance.

Then depress and turn the gas knob to the spark position, hold here for 10 seconds
then press the spark ignition button located next to the gas knob. If the burner fails
to light repeat this step immediately.

Upon lighting, stop pressing the spark ignition button and hold the gas knob for 15 to
20secs to allow the thermocouple to heat up. After 15-20 secs release the knob and
turn further anticlockwise to the ON position activating the main gas flow.

Turn the appliance off by depressing the knob and turning fully clockwise. Then turn
the gas off either on top of the cylinder for bottled gas or at the valve for domestic gas.
CAUTION THE BURNER, FUEL BED AND SURROUNDING TRIM WILL BE HOT. TAKE

CARE THAT THIS HAS COOLED DOWN BEFORE TOUCHING.

Optional Access hatch (If Fitted)

Optionally your fire table may be fitted with a Locking access hatch. This will be located over the manual controls and can
be opened by using the provided key. Once the hatch is open you may light the burner using the manual lighting instructions

as detailed above.

Optional Touch Pad controls (If Fitted)

Your Aztec Fire Table can be fitted with Touch Pad controls which are located along one side of your Gas fire table. The
intuitive control system allows you to control ignition as well as the level of flame produced by the table at the touch of a

button.

When using the touch pad to ignite the Aztec Gas Fire table ensure the safety Key is switched to the “ON” position. To light
the fire table, press the “ON- OFF” button on the touch pad. The flame will default to maximum output. Once the burner is

lit, use the “UP” and “DOWN” controls on the touch pad to adjust the flame level.

The fire table can also be controlled using the provided remote handset. To ignite the gas fire table, first ensure the safety
key on the table is set to the “ON” position. To start the ignition sequence, depress the red spark button and the large
flame button on the handset at the same time. The gas burner will go through a checking procedure before you will
start to see and hear ignition sparks approx 10-20 secs later. Once the burner is lit, the remote handset can be used to
increase and decrease the flame height using the large and small flame buttons.

Remote

To switch off your gas fire table using the touch pad simply touch the ON- OFF control for approximately 2 seconds until
the flame has extinguished. The same can be done using the fire remote handset by depressing the red “OFF” button for
approximately 2 seconds. Ensure that after you have extinguished the burner the safety key is turned back to the “OFF”

position.
