It's wonderful to hear about the successful internationalization program carried out by the Science Departments of Sultan Mizan Campus Teacher Education Institute in 2023. Alhamdulillah, it's indeed a great achievement, and I join you in thanking Allah for His grace and permission in making this program a success. Congratulations to the dedicated members of the Science Department for their hard work and meticulous planning. Their commitment and effort have clearly paid off. Acknowledging the support of the Malaysian Ministry of Education (KPM) and all other parties involved is essential, as their contributions played a vital role in the program's success. The collaboration between the Science Department of Sultan Mizan Campus Teacher Education, Nanyang Technological University Singapore, and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia holds great promise for enhancing professional development and educational practices. It's commendable that the program aims to empower students by exposing them to innovative ideas, teaching approaches, and technologies that can enrich their learning experiences. This internationalization program not only benefits the participating students but also contributes to the growth of knowledge and skills in the field of science, which is crucial for future education on your campus. May this initiative continue to prosper and foster positive collaborations, further enriching the educational landscape at IPG Sultan Mizan Campus. Purpose Objectives Establish a professional collaboration between the Science Departments of Sultan Mizan Campus Teacher Education Institute, the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and UTM. Educate the student educators involved about new ideas, approaches, and technology in teaching and education. Improving student educators' knowledge, skills, and talents in the field of science studies. Opening opportunities for research and innovation. Introducing the Sultan Mizan Campus Teacher Education Institute to the international level SIPSTEM 2023 Internationalization Program: This Innovation Showcase in STEM Education partnership is also a continuation of the Internationalization Program of the IPG Science Department of the Sultan Mizan Campus with Fatani Islamic University, Thailand in 2019. Education systems abroad that are different from Malaysia most likely have their own strengths that Malaysia can emulate. Visiting educational institutions abroad is the best way to see the strength of an institution. For this purpose, Nanyang Technological University was chosen considering that the main strength of the university is in the field of STEM which is very suitable for the cost of the student's major which is Elementary School Science. The knowledge and experience gained during this visit will definitely be able to help IPG student educators exchange ideas and opinions and add knowledge so that they can become dedicated teachers in the future.
