COUNTRY CLUB
The Hacker's Committee STAFF
 is dedicated to running a fair, fun and competitive event
General Manager
each year. In order for this to happen, the committee BUCK STREICH
needs the help of all participants. In this year's event, there
will be no "Gimme" putts, everything must be holed out.  The Head Professional
committee reserves the right to adjust handicaps at any time BOB STALLMAN
during the event. The watch list for those players that shoot
exceptional rounds will be in effect. It is our goal to make this Superintendent

Tournament Highlights

Practice Round

Please take note that the practice round time will include tee times starting at 8:00 am and
all are invited to play. An optional skins game is available at a $20 member charge per team.
The practice round will be a "Game of 64" (80% of handicap used) and all teams that shoot 64
or better will split the pot. This is a net payout and buy-in is a $40 member charge per team.

The Derby

This optional in-flight event will be held Thursday evening. The cost is a $60 member charge
per team. All participating teams will be entered. Each flight will be assigned a starting hole.
This is a two-hole event. Winners of each flight will advance to the finals.

Cash Games:

All teams are automaically entered into these cash games

Player's Pool (Included in entry fee)

This is day money within each flight.

Skins (Included in entry fee)

Deuce Pool (Included in entry fee)

We will only pay gross Two's for each flight each day.
All payouts will be paid to the member by check.

Finals Shootout

On Saturday afternoon, the winners of the four flights will compete in a two-hole point par
elimination shootout. The winner will be the 2021 Hacker's Holiday Champion. 

Handicaps

All handicaps used during the tournament were updated as of June 1st, 2021, to ensure valid
handicaps for the event. The lowest handicap in the past 12 months is used. The
committee reserves the right to change any handicap at any time.

Tournament Rules

Calcutta

 If, for whatever reason, teams can't play within their allotted flight tee time they will not be
eligible for the Calcutta for that round. 

Pro Shop Hole #6

Players may wager between $5 and $200. Any amount wagered is "Pro Shop Credit"
The player's golf ball must come to rest within the circle on the green.  If the player's ball
comes to rest within the circle, he gets double his original bet in Pro Shop credit. If he
misses, he gets his original wager in Pro Shop credit.

Point Par Format 

Each player will be allowed 80% of their handicap. For each net par, one point will be
awarded; for each net birdie, two points; for each net eagle, three points; and for each net
double eagle, four points. No points are lost for net scores over par. To assist with the pace of
play, once a player has reached net bogey they must pick up. Each partner may score points
on each hole. For example, a player has a net birdie on the first hole while his partner has a
net par. The team scores three points on this hole. 100 minus the total combined points of
the two partners will give the team's score for the day. The use of 100 is intended to cause
the score to be comparable to those in the competition on the other two days. Points will
be figured by the Hacker's Holiday Committee.
