Invitation to Siciliaans for 75th Independence Day Celebrations

It is the pleasure of Core Committee & Cultural Committee to invite
all the Siciliaans for commemoration of 75th Independence Day
Celebrations. The detailed prog. For the celebrations is as follows:

1) Arrival of all Residents (10:30 hrs)
2) Flag Hoisting (10:45 hrs)
3) Felicitate the Defence Personnel
4) Performances ( Group/Solo)
5) Quiz Contest
6) Prize distribution Ceremony
7) Closing Ceremony
8) Lunch

Looking forward to see you all getting drenched in the colours of
Bharat ki Azadi ka Mahaparv!!

Dear all!

As aware, Independence day is just a few blocks away & we are
commemorating it on 15th August 2022( Monday).We are planning to have
the following to add colours to the programme.

1) Drawing cum Slogan Writing competition.
2) Performances by children.

1) Drawing Cum Slogan Writing Competition :

a) The children are to draw & colour on the basis of the topics
given to them. They are also required to write an appropriate
slogan for the same.

b) The age groups for the competition is as follows :

GROUPS AGE TOPICS

Group 1 3yrs - 6 yrs INDIA

Group 2 6+ yrs - 10 yrs NATIONS STRENGTH

Group 3 10+ yrs – 14 yrs SDG,S (SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENTAL
GOALS)

c) The 3 best entries would be given a token of appreciation &
they would be displayed in the General Area of Hut Garden & The
Seating Arrangement.

d) Every participant to get a participation certificate.
e) The children / Parents to give the name of children who would

like to participate in the Drawing Cum Slogan Writing
Competition.
f) The entries are to be submitted by 13th August 2022 to
Mrs.Anuroopa & Mrs.Lovely Shah.

2) Performances by children :

a) The performances to be a Patriotic song, Dance, Poem
Recitation, Play & Speech too.

b) The above performances can be Solo/ Duet/ Group)
c) Performances can be in Hindi/ English
d) The performances should only be Patriotic Songs or on

Patriotic Songs. However the performances can be patriotic
Bollywood songs/ or on Patriotic Bollywood songs.
e) Kindly note that it is an opportunity for parents to encourage
their children to show-case their skills.
f) Entries are welcome from all Age groups. Each & every Siciliaan
is welcome to contribute their performance.
g) The last date for receiving the entries is 13thAugust 2022.
