A MESSAGE FROM THE COUNCIL LEADERSHIP Dear Scouting Members and Friends: Your support of Scouting instills the values of character, leadership, and citizenship in thousands of Scouts in Three Harbors Council. During the past year, our council made a significant impact on the lives of youth in Kenosha, Milwaukee, and Racine counties and in service within our communities. Three Harbors Council is pleased to report many positive outcomes in 2022 including: • 4,547 Scouts served which represents a 7.2% growth in youth membership. • 198 Scouting units or program sites served across our three-county territory. • 4,094 merit badges and 3,234 rank advancements earned by local Scouts. • 1,093 Scouts and family members attended summer camp programs. • 65,424 pounds of food collected by Scouts for donation to local food pantries. On behalf of Three Harbors Council’s Executive Board, we would like to thank you for your support of Scouting. As this annual report shows, our Scouts are working hard to invest in themselves, in one another, and in their communities. With your help, Three Harbors Council will continue to build trustworthy, helpful, and brave leaders in 2023 and beyond! SCOUTING MEMBERSHIP SERVED VENTURERS & EXPLORERS 88 2022 HIGHLIGHTS FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE STATEMENT OF OPERATIONS 107 SCOUTS earned the rank of Eagle 4,094 MERIT BADGES EARNED 3,234 ADVANCEMENTS EARNED 1,093 Scouts and family members attended Summer Camp programs Kanwa tho Lodge 577 Order of the Arrow members 65,424 POUNDS OF FOOD COLLECTED by 117 Packs and Troops for Scouting for Food Kimberly Kane Council President Andrew Hardin Scout Executive/CEO Lucia Cronin Council Commissioner CUB SCOUTS 2,932 ADULT VOLUNTEERS 1,842 December 31, 2022 (pre-audited figures) TOTAL EXPENSES - $2,399,099 TOTAL INCOME - $2,552,645 Other Contributions - 14% Scout Shop Revenue - 1% Foundations & Grants - 2% Special Events - 5% Camping & Activities - 9% Product Sales - 10% United Way - 14% Investment Income - 22% Friends of Scouting - 22% Fundraising - 15% Management & General - 13% Program Services - 72% SCOUTS BSA 1,527
