4 Electronic publishing refers to digital publication of e-books, digital magazines, and the development of digital libraries and catalogues. Electronic publishing refers to the many different ways that publishers or others can publish books, articles or other types of literature as digital content. 5 Thus, Electronic publishing (EP) refers to digital publication of e-books, digital magazines, articles and other types of literature which was released electronically for the development of digital libraries and catalogues . Posting documents on the Internet. Sending files as attachments to e-mails. Copy media to a CD-R (compact disc recordable). Electronic publishing is a publishing method where the final release of the document or media is released electronically. Examples of electronic publishing include the following. They were sent to the subscriber via a mailing list. 1st e-journal journal- ELECTRONIC LETTERS ONLINE by IEE (1994 1994-95) distributed via OCLC.
