JA LEARNING EXPERIENCES
Grades K-12
JA learning experiences are designed to engage students on a subject over multiple grades, from a
student’s first day in Kindergarten and throughout their K-12 years, preparing them for the transition to
post-secondary education, work, and adulthood. JA learning experiences focus on critical life skills; like
how to manage money, how to prepare for a job or career, and even how to start a business.
JA’s unique approach allows business and community volunteers to teach students about the importance
of money management, workforce readiness and entrepreneurial thinking. By sharing their knowledge
and experience, JA volunteers inspire and empower students to dream big and reach their potential.
