SHORT DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITY : Activity 1: On 20/05/2023, me and my friends have applied our teamwork skills by helping the shopkeepers of MSU’s KFC, to keep the place clean, by doing our part by helping them throw our rubbish in the trash can that has been provided, and helping them by cleaning our own table. Activity 2: On 20/05/2023, me and my friends were having a discussion on the 7th floor at the MSU’s Library, on what shall we do for our fashion show coming this Thursday, and I have applied my teamwork here by allowing ourselves to work together and coming up with a solution together. Activity 3: On 8/03/2023, I have applied my teamwork skills here by helping my friend at her booth at MSU’s U-Plaza by helping her organise her booth to make it look attractive and by helping her attract and get more customers by calling them and call out the products that she has in her booth. Activity 4: On 20/05/2023, I applied my teamwork skills here by helping my friends with their studies at the MSU’s library, as they were unsure about their understanding. This requires teamwork skills as we are both working together towards the same aim, and goal to help them succeed in their studies. Activity 5: On 20/05/2023, me and my friends were on the 7th floor of the MSU’s Library playing Jenga, a multiplayer indoor game. This indoor game that we played requires a lot of teamwork skills and cooperation. Activity 6: On 30/03/2023, me and my group mates are in our weekly PEC Teamwork skills class that we go every Thursday, and here in this class is where we apply our teamwork skills the most, as in our class every week we’d have different weekly activities that we’d participate that requires teamwork skills and other skills as well.
OBJECTIVE OF ACTIVITY : Activity 1: By helping the shopkeepers at the MSUs KFC, this ensures that we are doing our part to keep the shop clean by working together, and collaborating with each other including the shopkeepers, to create a positive environment for everyone, as we are setting an example to others of what teamwork is all about, and how teamwork is very important in our life. Activity 2: By having discussions with groupmates, this ensures teamwork as we are collaborating and sharing our ideas, and perspectives with them, and as well problem solving skills are required as we are working together to solve a problem, as well as decision making skills to achieve and come to a conclusion, and finally, effective communication and active listening is highly required when engaging with others. Activity 3: By helping my friend at her booth and attracting people , this ensures teamwork as we were working together and collaborating to promote her business and attract more customers. We have also used communication skills, and dependability skills are very important skills to have when working as a team to achieve a common objective. Activity 4: By teaching and helping my friends in their studies and helping them achieve in their academics requires teamwork and collaboration, as we are all working together. There’s also problem solving skills that are required in this while we are coming up with solutions. We have also used active-listening as one will have to listen to what the other is saying in order to fully understand. Activity 5: By playing the multiplayer indoor game Jenga, ensures that we are working together to build the tower and remove the blocks without it falling over, this shows that we are collaborating with others to achieve our common goal, this not only enhances our teamwork skills but also communication skills, problem solving skills and adaptability skills, which are very important skills to have when playing Jenga as a team. Activity 6: By participating in our weekly activity during our PEC Teamwork skills class ensures that we are engaging the activities together as a group, and working together to help each other achieve our goals. This not only promotes our teamwork skills, but also collaboration skills, communication skills and problem solving skills, active listening, flexibility, and dependability, which are the important skills to have when participating in teamwork related activities. Moreover, as a leader of the group, I have also applied and have enhanced my leadership skills in order to lead my group members and keep them updated on every detail and help them when they are unsure of things.
