Azrul Izham Hamzah Warm greetings from AKEPT! All praise be to Allāh, Subhānahū wa Taālā most profoundly for His blessings and mercy. I wish to extend a very warm welcome to the Conference on ‘Empowering Diversity in Leadership: Navigating Complexities, Embracing Differences’, a collaborative effort between Higher Education Leadership Academy (AKEPT) and Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS). AKEPT plays a leading role in ensuring talent management and leadership competencies development in higher education. Together with strategic collaborators, we develop and deliver programmes as such. The expectation from this conference is to facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices among institutions regarding the implementation of leading diversity initiatives as well as to foster a network of higher education leaders and stakeholders, to promote ongoing collaboration and discussion on diversity and inclusivity in organisation. On that note, I hope the participation from everyone will make this conference a successful one. AKEPT is proud to drive the Conference on Empowering Diversity in Leadership: Navigating Complexities, Embracing Differences’ as part of leadership competencies development for higher education. We hope that this Conference will be an enlightening platform to provide a clear understanding on promoting diversity and inclusivity in organisations in wide perspectives.
