FROM PRINCIPAL’S DESK

It enthused me to stare at the
emulating creativity of my pri-
mary wing in this format of E-
News letter.The budding chil-
dren have endeavoured to in-
scribe their fabulous dreams
through lines and language.They
have tried to articulate their
little world with their tender
finger and immaculate smile.Let
their creative imagination be
transformed into a sensitive and
vigilant personality that may add
to our national resource.I wish
the present edition would be-
come instrumental in bringing
out the inert passion and pent
of emotion of our children with
ample freedom of expression. I
congratulate all who have taken
pain to pen and shape this tiny
but sweat one.

The Strange Land

Once upon a time, there was a boy named Aman, living in a village in Meghalaya. He was a very curious
boy. He loves to go inside new caves and explore new things inside. One day he was going to his friend’s
birthday party. While crossing through a forest, he heard some noise. He followed that sound and en-
tered into the dense forest. He was too much curious and excited so he ran with joy. After going a little
deep in jungle, he saw a very large and unknown cave. Perhaps the sound was coming from inside so he
ran inside to find out where the sound is coming from. When he entered the cave, it was completely
dark inside. After entering a bit inside, he heard echo of his foot- steps. Since the floor was slippery,
suddenly he fell down and slipped inside. He doesn’t know where he was falling down.
After some time, he saw a strange land. The sky looked red. There was an oval shaped ball as bright as
Sun. Suddenly he saw hundreds of strange creatures running towards him. They were 12 ft high and
having a humanoid structure. He shouted with fear but they caught him. He started crying and with fear
he fainted. When he got up, they served him varieties of Fruits, which were tasty. He was scared before
but after some time, felt safe.
Aman lived few more days with them and tried to explore about this new land. It was so beautiful
though strange. Those humanoid creatures were very friendly. Aman played with them.
One day, while walking through the same place, he explored a dark, narrow cave. He feared but went
inside. This cave brought him back to his own land. It was the same place where he entered the cave.
This cave visit was an adventurous but magical experience for him.
