The Public Safety Mutual Benefit Fund Inc. thanks the participants of the recently concluded Bayanihan photo contest
held last December 6, 2018 during our 21st Founding Anniversary.
Thirteen partner agencies participated namely: the Philippine National Police (PNP), Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA),
Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM), Office for Transportation Security (OTS), Philippine
Coast Guard (PCG), National Mapping and Resource Information Agency (NAMRIA), Metropolitan Manila Development Authority
(MMDA), Philippine Public Safety College (PPSC), Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR-FRAWAI), Bureau of
Immigration (BI), Land Transportation Office (LTO), and Bureau Of Corrections (BUCOR).
Partner agencies were enjoined to submit photographs showcasing the bayanihan spirit incorporated in their mission/vision. Entries
were carefully selected by the Anniversary Committee and judged accordingly.
The three winners were the BFP, PNP, and NAMRIA. PSMBFI’s heartfelt gratitude is extended to PNP- Police Community
Relations Group, FO3 Paul Edson Regalado of the BFP NCR-Taguig City FS, Mr. Ramon Durano of NAPOLCOM PIO, Ms. Hericka

PSMBFI marked another milestone as it celebrated its 21st
Founding Anniversary last December 6, 2018. Reflecting
on the accomplishments over the past, the company also
acknowledged the support given by all its members and partner
agencies.

As the PNP General Hospital gives quality care to its patients,
PSMBFI in turn gave grocery bags for its annual “Pamaskong
Handog” last December 13, 2018. PSMBFI Chairman and
Chief,PNP PDG Oscar Albayalde likewise rendered his message of
hope and a Christmas filled with love and joy.

The Police Community Relations Group received computer sets
from the Public Safety Mutual Benefit Fund, Inc, in support to
its Global PCR Program. This program aims to create a platform
of support and cooperation between the government and various
organizations of Filipino communities abroad, at the same time
assure the overseas Filipino workers of government protection for
their relatives in the Philippines. The computers were turned-over
by PSMBFI Vice President Armando Ramolete.

PSMBFI members or the beneficiaries of deceased members who have not yet received their insurance
claim are advised to coordinate with the Insurance Department at (02) 725 - 4725 or our Regional Extension
Offices (REOs). We will be glad to provide you with the necessary assistance.

For those claiming the benefit checks (death claim), the beneficiary may authorize any member of his/her
immediate family. The authorized person must bring a Special Power of Attorney (SPA). All representatives must
bring valid identification cards.

As for the Special Power of Attorney, it must specify the kind of transaction they have with PSMBFI, and must
be signed by the member/beneficiary. The same must be duly notarized by a Notary Public or administered by
the member’s immediate superior.
